Collier Duane Branham, 87, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February the 8th 
in his home. He was the first of four children, born in Tankersley, TX on September 22, 1930 to 
Collier and Lila Branham. Duane graduated from Lake View High School, served in the Navy 
during the Korean War, then attended San Angelo College where he studied business and music. Church was a large part of his life. He lead the singing in Eldorado, Brady, Grape 
Creek, and San Angelo churches. He also spent over 60 years as a well-respected Automotive Paint and Body man, being self employed for the majority of his career. 
Duane Branham was married to Lolita Farrington on May 17, 1952 in San Angelo, TX. They 
lived most of their married lives in Texas; residing in Eldorado and Rochelle, then settling in 
San Angelo for the last 40 years.
Duane was meticulous about his work. Restoring classic cars was his passion. His favorite 
restoration was a candy apple red '46 Ford pickup, which he drove daily for years. 
His life revolved around family, church, and work. His time away was filled with family trips to 
the Frio River, cooking BBQ, and making freezers of homemade ice cream. He had a great 
sense of humor and loved to "pick on" those he was closest to.
He is survived by his son, Mike Branham, and his wife, Janet; son, Kim Branham, and his wife, Lisa; and daughter, Melva Sussdorf, and her husband, Stuart; all from San Angelo. Grandchildren, Garry Branham and his wife, Phoebe, their children, Payton and Paysley; Stacey
Branham and his wife, Ann Marie; Loree Branham; Britt Branham; BriAnn Fritz and her husband, Chris, their children, Otto and Rex; and Rebecca Sussdorf. Siblings, Maureen Lane and her husband, Travis; Ann Brooks; sister-in-law, Helen Branham; and many cousins, nieces, and 
nephews. 
Preceded in death by his parents, Collier and Lila Branham; wife, Lolita, and infant son; brother,
Shannon; and brother-in-law, Gene Brooks. 
A visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Harper Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at Harper Funeral Home.

Hospice.

Dear Lord, I left my earthly life on February 9th, 2018, at the age of 73. I am thankful for my family and close friends who loved and cared for me throughout my life and during my transition to my heavenly life. I will be met in heaven by my closest family: my son, Jay Anderson, my parents, Martin and Myrtle Leuthaeuser, my husband of seventeen years, Vernon Timm, my step-daughter, Tyree Timm, and my brother and sister-in-law, Les and Skip Leuthaeuser.
Lord, please be with those I leave behind: my daughter and her husband, Michelle and Derek Logback, my grandchildren, Hunter and Britton, and Marylin Ortega, Hunter’s fiancé. Joining them are my brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Larry and Judy Leuthaeuser, along with special nieces and nephews that brought me joy and laughter. Also continue to watch over my step-son and his wife, Bernie and Roxanne Timm, and my grandchildren Scott, Shelly, Josh, and Genie and my great-grandchildren, Ransom and Rio. Last, but not least, my special friends that have been a part of my life’s journey.
Lord, thank you for the life I have lived. I was born in Fremont, Nebraska, on October 14th, 1944. I attended Trinity Lutheran School for most of my educational career and graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1962. 
My first husband, Jon Anderson, and I had two children. We moved to San Angelo, in 1975 to start a family business, Anderson Kennels. I ran the business for fifteen years, along with other jobs, to support my children. I sold the business to pursue a career as an insurance agent. I found joy and satisfaction in serving clients with personal care in their insurance and investment decisions. I was very proud of the accomplishments I had achieved with my careers; such as, receiving “The Rookie of the Year” award, “The Award of Excellence” and selected to present to peers at conferences.
I retired from Horace Mann Insurance Company and married my dance partner for life, Vernon, in 1993. We enjoyed many camping trips in our RV, spending time with and entertaining friends in our home, and having nice, quiet evenings together on the back porch. When he joined our Lord in 2010, I found great comfort from my involvement in the church by serving on the board as Treasurer and participating in the Ladies Bible Class. 
My family and I would like to express special thanks to the doctors and staff at Community Hospital; they discovered the causes for my recent decline in health and treated me “like a princess.” 
If friends and family would like to join together to share memories, my viewing will be at Harper’s Funeral Home on Friday, February 16th, from 5-7 PM. My celebration of life will be on Saturday, February 17th, at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 10:00 AM. 
I have been content with simple joys and pleasures in life, always happy with what I had and never longed for worldly things. I have been satisfied with God’s design for my life, both joys and sorrows. I ask that my family and friends find comfort in knowing that I was ready for the Lord to take me. I will continue to love them and wait for the day we are together again.

Carl Winston Kemp Jr. passed peacefully in his sleep to be with our Lord and Savior on February 9, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Carl was born on October 20, 1937 to Carl Winston Kemp and Winnie Earline (Sturdy) Kemp. Carl was born in his Grandma and Grandpa Sturdy’s house in Tioga, Texas. He played basketball in high school and graduated from Tioga High School in 1955. He was active in the FFA and showed dairy cows. He was on the judging team and took many awards. After graduation he attended at the University of North Texas in Denton. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, and father. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Mary Frances Kemp, his sister Carol Gray, his brothers Stanley Kemp and Rick Kemp, his children, Carl Winston Kemp III, Jack Kemp, Laura (Kemp) McLaren and Kurt Kemp, his step children Steve Huff, Michael Huff, Greg Huff and Pamela (Huff) Bomer and their spouses and his grandchildren Victoria McLaren, Alexandria Kemp, Georgana Huff-Brazeal, Jason Bomer, Sarah Garcia, Casey Huff, Josh Huff and Jamie Calabrese and their spouses and his many great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins and their families. Carl loved all of his children and their families. 
Carl worked many jobs while in high school and college. He began working for General Telephone Company in Sherman, Texas in 1961. He retired in 1988 as a Senior Engineer working on a multitude of projects and special circuits with GTE. After retirement he worked at the Sears Service Center as a technician. He returned to the telephone business as a contractor for Verizon in Irving, Texas after a few years retiring once again to San Angelo.
Carl was good spirited, easy going and kind hearted. He is described by many friends and neighbors as a sweet man that never had an unkind word and was always pleasant to everyone. Carl was raised Church of Christ and a member of the Northside Church of Christ in San Angelo. He was a faithful man, quiet in his faith but unquestionably strong. He loved God and studied the Bible daily.
Thanks to our brother Greg Huff for taking care of our Dad. Many thanks to Kindred Hospice, their staff Rae Denton, Gretal Evans, Tina Luna and Domingo Lopez for their compassion and care of Carl throughout his illness. Huby L. Owens, 83 of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in San Angelo. Huby was born January 20, 1935 in Amherst, Texas to Alvin and Freddie McDaniel Owens. He grew up in Lamesa and graduated from Odessa High School. Huby was a self-made man and worked hard from a very young age. He was in sales all of his life and was very accomplished and successful at his job. He dabbled in different sales companies but mainly sold automobiles. Huby was a loving father and a greatperson to all. He lived life by “the golden rule” and was always willing to help others at a moment’s notice. His humor and sharp wit was only surpassed by his kindness and compassion for others. One of his favorite things to do besides being there for others, was to find a good bargain for almost anything. He loved the search and chase of it all and his intelligence usually afforded him his final triumph of winning the greatest bargain ever. Huby’s family was, of course, the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed being a father and grandfather and spending time with all of them. Huby also adored his two special dogs, FiFi and Bella. His passion for life and laughter and kindness will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss him. Huby was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Naomi Owens Lockhart and her husband Steve, of Wichita, KS; his son, Alvin Owens, of San Angelo; his sisters, Rubi Owens Edmonson, of San Angelo and Karen Wright Owens, of Wolfforth, TX; his grandchildren, Kimberly Childs and her husband Bryan, of Wichita, KS, Dustin Wehlmann, of Denver CO, Brett Cox, of Lewisville, TX, Robbie Cox, of Flower Mound, TX, Brannon Cox, of Flower Mound, TX and Kristen Cox, of Flower Mound, TX; 12 Great Grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews; and numerous grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home. The graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa, Texas. Jack Harold Albert, age 82, left this earth with his wife by his side, surrounded with the love of his family, on February 3rd, 2018.His family is comforted knowing that Jack is at peace after his long, brave battle with Alzheimer’s. Jack and his family are very grateful for the love and support from his many dear friends.
Jack was born on August 25, 1935, as the first of two sons, to Harold and Nina McLaughlin Albert in San Angelo. 
Jack attended Santa Rita Elementary, Lee Jr. High School and San Angelo High School, where he graduated in 1954. He loved sports and was a letterman in football and track during his high school years. He was a bright young man, and ultimately pursued his higher education in the sciences.
In 1955 Jack attended Texas Technological School (now Texas Tech University). While attending school, he worked part time for the City of Lubbock Engineering Department. Jack achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in geology, with a minor in mathematics in 1959. He interviewed with his uncle, Reece Albert, prior to his graduation, and reached an agreement for a position with in the small civil contracting firm.
Jack was given the responsibility of running the family business early in his career. It was “baptism by fire”, and Jack’s knowledge for business and the construction industry grew very quickly. Over his 56 years with the company, and through his guidance, the small West Texas family business grew into a major heavy construction and materials business, known today as Reece Albert, Inc. and CSA Materials, Inc.
In 1990 Jack married Debbie Garnett Albert. Together they met the world with enthusiasm and started their active role in Associated General Contractors of Texas with their daughter, Shauna. They built a life of Love and adventure.
Jack became a leader on the state level through his involvement and two presidencies (1995 and 2009) with the influential Associated General Contractors of Texas. This is an organization that he was devoted to, and to which he gave his time, talent and treasure. His clear way of communication was the reason Jack was called upon on numerous occasions to represent the transportation industry in settings ranging from public hearings to private meeting with policy makers. He was a steady voice for the Texas transportation industry, for West Texas, and for the family business.
Jack served in leadership positions with other industry organizations, including as a Life Director for the Associated General Contractors of America; as a Board member with the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association; as an Executive Committee member with Texas Good Roads; as a Vice-Chairman, and Executive Committee member, Board member, and various Chair and Co-Chair positions with the American Road and Transportation Builders Association; and as a member of the advisory Council with the Texas Transportation Institute.
Jack was very involved in the San Angelo community. He served on a number of City of San Angelo and Chamber of Commerce Boards, was a force in local economic development, served as a Board member for Angelo Community Hospital (now called Community Medical Center), was an officer in the San Angelo Jaycees, and was involved with the Kiwanis club.

Jack nurtured the growth of four children during his lifetime. Three sons Richard Lon, Stuart Todd, Kenneth Ross from his former marriage to Carolyn Pope Albert in 1955. One daughter, Shauna L’Nea, from his marriage to Debbie in 1990. His children were deeply influenced by this man and his strong work ethic. He impressed on them life lessons and advice they cherish, and they will carry forward with them their entire lives.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Nina McLaughlin Albert. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his brother Mike and wife Sharon of Colleyville; his children Lon and wife Kim of San Angelo, Todd and wife Kat of Durango, CO, Ross and his wife Michelle of New Braunfels, Shauna and her husband Jeff Perroots of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren Alexandra of Durango, CO., Paxton of Utrecht, The Netherlands, Evan of Palmer, CO, Bryson of Tuscaloosa, AL, Victoria of New Braunfels, Jovanna of San Angelo and Madelyn of Charleston, SC. And his first great-grandchild Lily of Palmer, CO. and Carolyn Pope Albert, mother of his sons.

A private family burial service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery on Thursday, February 8th. Honorary pall bearers will be J.B. Fraley of Alto, NM, Stormy Kimrey of San Angelo, Ray Stoker of Odessa, Mickey Sallee of San Angelo, Steve Hooker of Denton, Tanner Albert of Colleyville, Shea Shurley of Mexico City. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 8th at First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of San Angelo or their favorite charity. The family cannot express enough thanks to the people who helped care for Jack during his battle. These wonderful people include the staff at New Haven who cared for him daily and the people with Hospice who helped Jack and his family through the most difficult times. All of them must know they were a godsend to the family and we will be forever thankful.

Ollie Lee Inskeep, 99, of San Angelo formerly of Midland, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018 in San Angelo. Ollie was born June 30, 1918 in Owasso, Oklahoma to Simon and Carrie Josephine Franks Downey. Ollie devoted her life to her family and to being an elementary school teacher in Southern California for 38 years. She married Doyle Inskeep and they shared 49 years of marriage and raised two sons. Ollie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed. Ollie is survived by her two sons, Jerry Inskeep, of San Angelo and Don Inskeep, of Las Vegas, NV; 4 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren. The Graveside Service will be 12:00 P.M., Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas with Tommy King officiating.

Florine Pauline Caroline Sturm was born on February 26, 1936 in Rowena, Texas. She was the youngest of eighteen children born to Paul and Josephine (Pelzel) Sturm. 
She attended Kristoff, Rowena and Miles schools. As a child she loved to play baseball and attend dances. At 16, she met Alton Odell of San Angelo. He joined the military and became a pilot for the Air Force. They were married on December 27, 1955 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rowena. They had five children: Debbie, Curtis, Sherry, Karen and Cindy. Florine and Alton farmed and ranched together while Alton continued his work with the Air Force Reserve. In the 1970’s, Florine began her career at Ethicon. She enjoyed her work and after 18 years, she retired. Alton and Florine spent 40 years together and on January 23, 1995 Alton left to be with Jesus. Florine continued their farming business. She was a Concho Valley Coop Director for several years. Florine enjoyed working with flowers, yard work, dominoes, sewing and quilting. She prayed for 2 years to find someone special to come into her life. She asked that he would be active in his faith and be good to her children. Her prayers were answered and she became reacquainted with James Kellermeier, a former classmate of hers at Miles High School. They were married on February 5th, 2000. Florine has been blessed in marriage twice with two wonderful men who loved her very much. Alton was the biological father and James became a chosen, dedicated father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Together they shared 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren with another one on the way.
Florine is preceded in death by her late husband Alton Odell, her grandsons: Lance Hartman, Chris Hartman, Ryan Hartman, Garrett Hartman, and her Brothers: Richard Sturm, Fred Sturm, Louis Sturm, Henry Sturm and her sisters, Elizabeth Sturm, Angeline Sturm, Helen Matthiesen, Tillie Piel, Josephine Schwertner and Louise Schwertner. She is survived by her husband, James Kellermeier, of Miles; her children, Debbie Hartman and her husband Ronnie, of San Angelo, Curtis Odell and his wife Elise, of San Angelo, Sherry Odell, of San Angelo, Karen Brest and her husband Robert, of San Angelo, Cindy Sharp and her husband Gary Don, of Lamesa; her grandchildren Colby Odell, Josh Odell, Maegan Mash, Abby Moorman, Ashley Odell, Amanda Burleson, Alissa Itz, Haley Belew, Heath Odell, Derek Brest, Blake Hartman, Sadie Brest, and Macy Sharp; her great-grandchildren Jaycee Hickey, Steely Mash, Kensly Mash, Wyatt Mash, Corbyn Odell, Evelyn Itz, Emerson Itz, Liam Itz, Hudson Belew, Collins Belew, Cutler Burleson, Collin Burleson, Khloe Odell, Klaridi Odell, Kirkland Odell, Noah Moorman, Luke Moorman, Aubrey Moorman, and Michael Moorman; her Sisters, Patsy Rohmfeld, Julia Rohmfeld, Rosa Schwertner, Emma Kruppa, Frieda Janca, Dorine Matthiesen, and Lorene Cmerek. 
The Vigil Service and recitation of the holy rosary will be 5:30 P.M., Sunday, February 4, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 5, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be her grandsons.

Thomas Cade Massey went to be with his Lord on January 31, 2018 following a brief illness. Visitation for Tom is from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Massey home, 1702 Amhurst, San Angelo. Memorial service is at 3:30pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 37 E. Beauregard Ave., San Angelo, with a reception following. A private family interment will take place on Saturday morning at Fairmont Cemetery.
Tom was born at home on March 5, 1931 in San Angelo to G.M.C. and Nora Villa Massey. G.M.C. was a widower with five children who added four more with Nora Villa, of whom Tom was the baby. He spent his early years in San Angelo, and after graduating from Lake View High School, enrolled at San Angelo College (now Angelo State University) where he was a recipient of one of the first Carr Scholarships. He then served proudly in the U.S. Army in the Korean conflict. Upon being honorably discharged, Tom attended Texas A&M University and then came to his senses and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas School of Law. He was licensed to practice law in 1960.
Tom began his practice of law in Graham, Texas, and later continued practicing in Edinburg and McAllen, Texas. He moved his family and law practice to San Angelo in 1964. Tom was elected by his Tom Green County constituents to the Texas State House of Representatives, where he proudly served from 1973 through 1981. He served as the Chair of the House Education Committee, and Chair of the Calendars Committee. During his time in the legislature he was especially focused on the issue of education, serving as the Chairman of the Education Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures, a member of the Southern Regional Education Board, a member of the Southern Legislative Conference of State Governments, and a former Commissioner on the Education Commission of the States.
Tom was the Tom Green County Judge and served in that position from 1987-88. He returned to his San Angelo law practice, where he enjoyed a lengthy and fruitful partnership with his good friend Sherri Balentine Tipton for many years. Tom was Board Certified in three areas of real estate: Residential, Commercial, and Farm and Ranch. He was passionate about water law, banking law, and oil and gas law, and he proudly represented the City of San Angelo in water rights matters for almost fifty years. He tried numerous cases in various courts around the state and always said, “Take care of your practice and your practice will take care of you.”
Tom was past president of the Tom Green County Bar Association; a certified mediator; a co-owner of Stroman Title; a civic leader both in the San Angelo area and across the state; a member of the Downtown Rotary Club and served as President; a past director of the West Texas Rehabilitation Center; a vice-chairman of the Fort Concho Museum Board; a member of the Texas Water Conservation Association; and a board member of the Lower Colorado River Authority.
Tom retired in 2012 after fifty years of law practice and spent his time raising cattle and goats at his ranch in Grape Creek with his wife, Pat, traveling the world, sharing stories with his grandkids, and following the ups and downs of his beloved Texas Longhorn football team. He was a talented welder, woodcraftsman, baker, cook, and painter. Tom was a lifelong student and a fanatical reader; a dedicated sharer of stories and tales; a pianist by ear who never heard a song he could not play; and a self-proclaimed “simple country lawyer” who was indeed country, yet anything but simple.
Tom was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, step-father, step-grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, and friend, as well as a devout Christian. He was a long time member of First United Methodist Church San Angelo, Chairman of the Permanent Endowment Committee, and served on the Board of Trustees.
Tom is predeceased by his wife, Mary Anna Byrom Massey of San Angelo, who passed away in 1999. They were married for forty-two years and had four children. Tom is also predeceased by his parents, and by his sister and brother-in-law Marion and Charles E. Williams; sister and brother-in-law Dell and Leonard Buller; sister and brother-in-law Jo and Bill Stasney; sister and brother-in-law Olga and Roy Bond; sister and brother-in-law Cadine and Raworth Williams; brother and sister-in-law Idas and Faye Massey; and brother and sister-in-law Baston and Jo Alice Massey. 
Tom is survived by his loving and devoted wife Patricia Needham Massey of San Angelo; daughter and son-in-law Julie and Kevin Halfmann of Wall; daughter and son-in-law Alyson and Paul Stone of Austin; son and daughter-in-law Cade and Cameron Krier Massey of Philadelphia; son Will Massey of Austin; step-daughter Gina Webber of Gibsonton, Florida; father and mother-in-law Elton and Nina Needham of Corpus Christi and brother and sister in-law Donnie and Fotine Needham of Boerne. 
Tom was blessed with a passel of grandchildren, whom he loved deeply and whose lives he followed closely: Cade Stone, James Halfmann, Anna Stone, Thomas Halfmann, Elizabeth Halfmann, Desiree Webber, and Jalen Parker. Tom is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Tom’s family would like to extend its thanks to the staff at Shannon Hospital ICU, Shannon Hospital 4 North, and the Shannon Hospital Palliative Care team, who made his final days peaceful. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Massey Family Methodist Assistance Fund at First United Methodist Church San Angelo or to a charity of your choice.
Tom once wrote that he “was not a shiny person,” meaning he did not generally prefer fancy or shiny things. He shone a very bright light in his heart for his family and friends, and we will miss him and his tender heart so very dearly.
