Martin (Marty) Kahn of San Angelo was greeted in Heaven by Yvonne his wife of 65 years on April 11, 2018.
Marty was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on April 15, 1930 to Norman and Viola Kahn. He married Yvonne Fowler on January 11th, 1952 in Ballinger, TX. Marty served in the US Airforce and he also retired from Ethicon, Marty was a Mason since 1952; current Lodge Phil Head Lodge #1415 Carlsbad, TX. Marty was a member and Trustee of Berean Baptist Church of Grape Creek, TX, He enjoyed airplanes and fishing.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Parents, In-Laws William and Jimmy Maude Fowler, Alvin and Jenell Sturgill, Billy and Wanda Fowler, Jim Sturgill and Martha Fowler.
He is survived by his step mother Dorothy Kahn, Nephews Gary and Danny Sturgill, Niece Donna Davis and 10 great nieces and their families.

A funeral service will be held at Harper Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Saturday April 14, 2018 with a Masonic graveside to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.

Tonie Louise (Day) Welch, age 71, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Saturday April 7, 2018.

Tonie was born February 18, 1947 in Electra, Texas to Mildred Day and Hurchel Day. Tonie graduated from Central High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Angelo State University. Tonie chose a career in education for San Angelo ISD working as a Special Education Teacher Assistant. She was married to Gerald Lee Welch on April 28, 1973, they spent many happy years together before his passing in 1989.

Tonie is survived by; son Jerry Welch; and daughter Leslie Maynard; sister Nyoka Gillet; granddaughters Kylie Maynard and Holly Gibbs. She also leaves to cherish her memories numerous nieces and nephews and other family members Tonie was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Welch; father Hurchel Day and mother Mildred Day.

A visitation for Tonie will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Johnson's Funeral Home from 6-8 pm with a graveside service following on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, Texas 76905. Felix Sanchez, Sr. 62, died Monday, April 9, 2018A Rosary will be held 7:00pm, Friday, April 13, 2018 at Harper Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, Saturday, April 14th at St. Margaret of Cortona in Big Lake with burial to follow at Glen Rest Cemetery.

Elizabeth Alvarado, 85, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on April 8, 2018. She was born on July 4, 1932 to Antonio and Petra Gonzales in Charco, Texas.
She married Alberto Alvarado, Sr. on January 21, 1956. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alberto, and her parents.
She is survived by her children: Juanita (Toribio) Arroyo, Albert, Jr. (Sylvia) Alvarado, Bea Alvarado, and Elvira (Blue). Grandchildren: Toby Arroyo, Michelle Malone, Misty Alvarado, Jessica Hernandez, Randy Alvarado, Robert Bejil, and Sabrina Bejil. Great-Grandchildren: Ryan Arroyo, Ethan Hernandez, Ava Malone, Penny Bejil, Mason Malone, and Lillie Hernandez. Sisters: Tomasa Huerta and Olivia Resendiz. Brothers: Adam Gonzales and Edward Gonzales, along with several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be at Harper Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be 1:30pm, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Harper with interment at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Linda Lou Archipolo, 65, died Saturday, April 7, 2018. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Archipolo; daughter, Tammy Littlefield; brother, Robbie Russell and wife Cherie; grandson, Gage Littlefield and granddaughter, Kelsey. Carolina G. Gallegos, 96, died peacefully on April 07, 2018, with family by her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved sewing and crocheting, cooking, gardening, but most of all her husband, children, and grandchildren. Carolina was born January 09, 1922, to Jose and Ignacia Gonzales in San Angelo, Texas. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday April 12, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel, 435 W. Beauregard, San Angelo, Texas 76903. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm Thursday in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel, following the visitation. Carolina was preceded in death by loving husband Roberto O. Gallegos, son Robert A. Gallegos; nephew Gregory Attila Szatmari; her brother Juan Arambula, and sister Juanita Hernandez, and many other loving family members. As a young woman Carolina worked as a farm laborer in various parts of the country including Texas, Colorado, Califo nia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, ,Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Carolina, North and South Dakota, Illinois and Iowa. She also worked as an aide for Shannon Hospital, in San Angelo, Texas. After World War II Carolina married her special friend Roberto Gallegos, in 1948 in Sonora, Texas. They had a blissful marriage for 62 years, living in Texas and California. While in Sacramento, CA, she worked for the Sacramento Unified School District, first as an instructional aide at Maple Elementary school, and then as a teacher's aide and translator at Fremont School for adults (Parent and Preschool Education). While working as a teacher's aide Carolina received many citations for Outstanding Service. Carolina is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren;9 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Dr. W.T. Hickman 77, of San Angelo went to be with his Lord Saturday March 31 2018. A wake service will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday April 6, at Harper Funeral Home.A celebration of his life service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Hickman was born March 2, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Owen Richard and Cleo Parker Hickman. He married Sheryl Janice Parks December 17, 1998. Dr. Hickman was an evangelist minister nationwide for over fifty years as well as pastoring his local Maranatha Church of God in Christ here in San Angelo for over thirty eight years. He will be greatly missed by his congregation and many friends.

Survivors include his wife Sheryl Janice Hickman, two daughters Mrs. Tammy Richmond, and Victoria Madden, four sons, Jamal Hickman, Trevin Hickman, William (Bino) Hickman Jr., William Anderson, step-children Delcass’e Jones, Micah D. Jones, Mrs. Jene’e Boyd, Mrs. Stephanie Woods four sisters Juanita Duncan, June Turner, Betty Hickman, Pearl Hutchens, and six grandchildren.

On March 28, 2018, our mother passed away. She went to be with the lord. Our mother was born May 27, 1957, in San Angelo, Texas. Our Mother loved to cook, read and decorate. She was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan over 40 years. Mother use to sing in Utah State Choir of the Church of God in Christ, She was educated in Ogden, Utah. She worked for Sitel for 10 Years. She was preceded in death with the loss of her mother, Evelyn Louise Chance, two brothers, Larry Darnell Chance and Noel Russell Chance. She leaves to cherish in her memory, her children, Christopher Todd Chance, Ayishe La’Shon Chance, Rashad DuPree Chance, one grandson Ja’Quan Dupree White, one brother, Randy Chance, one sister, Della Mae Ward, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Harper Funeral Home.

John Edward House passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in San Angelo, Texas.

John was born to Allen & Irene House on June 23, 1936 in Lauratown, Arkansas. John was a proud Air Force Vietnam veteran and holder of the Distinguished Flying Cross awarded for his service there. He served his country at numerous overseas and stateside assignments for 28 1/2 years, retiring at Goodfellow AFB San Angelo, Texas in 1984. One of his proudest moments was being retired by the USAF Thunderbirds flying team. He then continued to serve his country as a Civil Servant at Goodfellow AFB another 20 years. He married Kathleen McIntyre on December 26, 1957 in Larne, Northern Ireland. They recently celebrated 60 years together, 19 1/2 of that traveling the world as military family. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; sons, Robert and wife Traci, Shaun and wife Mary, and his pride and joy, grandchildren, Alyssa, Anna, John and Jack. He is also survived by his brothers, Roy and wife Donna, Jackie and wife Mary; sister, Alice and husband Paul, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, and four sisters. Honorary pallbearers are longtime friends Larry Czubinski, JT Allen, John French, Dennis Trujillo, JJ Graham & Ed O'Neill.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm April 2, 2018 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be at 10 am April 3, 2018 in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, with a catered reception to follow at Johnson's Funeral Home.
