Jermaine Lewis Nathaniel "Isaiah"

Nathaniel Isaiah Jermaine Lewis was born March 11, 2000 to Nathaniel and Jackie Lewis. He grew up in San Angelo, TX and graduated from Lake View High School. He brought many laughs to all who met him and left a mark in their hearts. He had a smile that would light up a room and always showed respect for all. His personality was captivating. 

He accepted Christ at an early age and worked diligently in the music ministry at his church. 

He will be truly missed, but NEVER FORGOTTEN. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Nathaniel and Jackie; sisters Amber, Naeosha, and Tyesha; brother Whitney; four nieces Breanna, Lanaeya, Meela, and Zola (deceased); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. 

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 23rd at Harper Funeral Home between 5:00- 7:00 pm. The funeral service is 1:00 pm, Monday, June 24th at the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ with burial to follow at Belvedere Memorial Park Cemetery.

Clemons Ada Mae

Ada Mae Clemons, 93, of San Angelo died Saturday, June 15, 2019 at her home. Services will be at 10am, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Antioch First Missionary Baptist Church. 
Ada was born October 21, 1925 in Bloomington, Texas to John and Mary Wall Cameron. She graduated from Wilkins High School in Port Lavaca. She received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Houston Tillson College. She later went back to school and received her master’s degree from Angelo State University. She taught in the SAISD for 20 years, retiring in 1984. 
Ada was preceded in death by her parents, all 9 of her siblings, husband Alcy Clemons, Jr., son Charles Lynn Warren, daughter Alcie Ann Clemons, and a granddaughter Summary K’era Rutledge. 
She is survived by her children: sons, Herbert Patridge of Austin, TX, Dwain Clemons of San Angelo, Charles Clemons (Debbie) of Arlington, TX, and Earl Clemons (Chantel) of Liberty Hill, TX; daughter Rebecca Warren (Aundrey) of San Angelo, TX; 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that became family. 
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Ty Hughston for his care and concern for our Granny over the years.

Rosalinda Castaneda, of San Angelo, passed away on June 15, 2019 in San Angelo. 

Rosalinda Castaneda was born in San Angelo to Antonia Pena & Jesse Pena on September 13, 1946. She married Alfredo "Fred" Castaneda on November 15,1965, in San Angelo, TX. She worked as a caregiver for 30 years. She enjoyed spending all of her time with her family, friends and her dog pebbles. She loved to drink coffee even if it was 100 degrees outside. She always put others before herself even if it meant she got no sleep. She welcomed everyone with opens arms and treated you as family. We will always remember her caring heart and her warm embrace she gave us. 

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 

Rosalinda Castaneda is preceded in death by Jesse Pena (Father), Cynthia Soto (Daughter), Jesse Pena (Brother), Vicente Pena (Brother). 

Pallbearers will be Juan Soto Jr, Adam Castaneda, Emett Luna, Mark Sanchez, Issac Sanchez, Francisco Gomez. 

Rosalinda Castaneda is survived by Alfredo Castaneda (Spouse), Juan and Rosie Soto (Grandson), Leylah and Lexus Escobedo (Great-grandchildren), Antonia A. Pena (Mother), Norma and Danny Arambula (Sister), Corina Castaneda (Niece), Chentel Castaneda (Niece), Jessica and Rodolfo Martinez (Niece). 

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM June 19, 2019 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home.

McWilliams Hazel Ruth

Hazel Ruth McWilliams, 87, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, June 17, 2019. She was born in San Angelo to Truett and Katie Lois Ray on November 17, 1931. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Baptist Church, played piano, sang in the choir, enjoyed reading, loved crocheting, and square dancing with the love of her life, James Harlan McWilliams. She worked for the Tom Green Co. Tax office, and then SAISD food service for 26 years. 
Hazel is preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters, Theresa Gail McWilliams and Dana Lois Highsmith. She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Harlan; two sons, Stephen Kyle McWilliams and Jeffrey Keith McWilliams; two sisters, Dorothy Burrell and Betty Huckaby; son-in-law Bobby Highsmith; and daughter-in-law Janice Hammond; grandchildren Christopher, Benjamin, Caitlin, Melanie, Heather, Jason, Amber, and Angela; and great grandchildren; along with many extended family and friends. 
A visitation will be held at Harper Funeral Home, Thursday, June 20th from 6:00-8:00pm. The funeral service is at 10:30am, Friday, June 21st at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Richardson officiating, with a burial to follow at 1:30pm in Menard at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Childs Lawrence Wayne

Larry is survived by his wife, Virginia Fesperman Childs; son Larry Thomas Childs; stepchildren Laura Barkis, Elizabeth Hubbard, Sonny Dooley, Rebecca Isaacs, and Patrick Norris; and brothers Curt Childs and Bobby Childs. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents James and Jean Childs.

A memorial service for Lawrence will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Landy House, 14 South Jefferson, San Angelo, Texas.

The Childs family would like to thank Hospice of San Angelo and Arbor Terrace for the care they provided Larry throughout his stay.

"MeeMaw" Porter Jo Ann

Jo Ann " MeeMaw" Porter, of Santa Anna, passed away on June 16, 2019. 

Jo was born in Santa Anna to John and Edith (Shields) Gilbert on March 19, 1941; the oldest of 5 children. She married Jack Porter on September 17, 1960 and they shared 58 wonderful years together. 

She was an office manager for automobile dealerships, including, Mustang Chevrolet, Lynn Alexander and Jim Bass Ford, but her greatest accomplishment was always her family. 

She is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Patricia Stapleton and son Don Woodrow Gilbert. 

She is survived by her husband, Jack Porter, daughter; Sandra Warner and husband, Gary; sons; Randy Porter and wife, Jane, Danny Porter and wife, Debbie, sister in law; Lynda Gilbert, sister, Wanda Bailey and husband, James Bailey, brother, Dale Gilbert, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 

The family of Jo Porter wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice off San Angelo for the loving care shown to our family. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of San Angelo. 

I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. 

I though about you yesterday and the days before that too. 

I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. 

All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. 

Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. 

God as you in His keeping... I have you in my heart.
