The public water system owned by the City of San Angelo has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of October 18, 2020, 9:30 a.m.
San Angelo, TX – Due to multiple breaks of water mains in various areas of San Angelo that resulted in a reduction in water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of San Angelo public water
system to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc).
