Herbert was born in Shiner, Texas to Joseph and Mary Schraer Seidenberber on July 5, 1920. He was married to Maurine Hoepfl in Hermleigh, Texas in 1941, and they had five children. Herbert was preceded in death by his eldest son, Gary Seidenberger, Juanita Seidenberger, and Maurine Seidenberger Russell. He is survived by his two sons Mike Seidenberger and friend LuCindy Packer of Brownwood and Dr. Steve Seidenberger and spouse Ronda of Salina, OK; two daughters Sandra Wilde and spouse Floyd of St. Lawrence, and Becky Hanophy and spouse Jim of Hurst; daughter-in-law Linda Seidenberger Reeh of San Angelo. Herbert enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1939 and served for seven years and participated in the South Pacific Theater of Operations of World War II. After his honorable discharge, Herbert and his wife Maurine were among the first settlers to help develop the St. Lawrence farming community in Glasscock County in the late 1940's. He enjoyed a successful farming and ranching career beginning in St. Lawrence, Texas and later in Vinita, Oklahoma. To our Dad, we bid a tearful "Auf Wiedersehen."
