Consuelo Salas, 88, of San Angelo, passed away on Dec. 31, 2013.
A Rosary was held (Thurs) yesterday at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Fr. Patrick Akpanobong officiating. Mrs. Salas will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the Arnoldo Gutierrez Family and Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. 
Survivors include one son, Jesus Gavia of Del Rio, Texas and two daughters, Delia Hernandez and Angelica Reyes both of San Angelo, Texas.

Barbee Calvin Wesley

SAN ANGELO - Calvin Wesley Barbee, 79, of San Angelo, was reunited with his savior and family in heaven on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.

Calvin was born April 18, 1934 in Ozona, Texas to Clyde W. and Pauline Luther- Barbee. 

He graduated from San Angelo High School May 1953. He also attended Abilene Christian College and graduated from Austin Barber College.

He married Mary Juanita Phillips of Eldorado, Texas May 1955. Calvin and Nita had one daughter, Deborah Barbee.

Calvin later married Paula Chatham in San Angelo June 1977 and was blessed to gain a son, Jason, and daughter, Michelle.

He assisted his father, Clyde, operating and managing the family lumber business in Brady, Texas. He later moved to Abilene and then to San Angelo, where he was employed at Angelo State University and later self employed as a paint contactor. 

He had many "satisfied and happy" customers due to his great sense of humor and pride in his work.

He was a resident of Christian Village where he enjoyed living and associating with many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Pauline Barbee, infant twin brother, Alvin, and wife Paula Barbee.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Barbee-Earnest and husband Tommy, of San Angelo; son, Jason Chatham and wife Staci of Eldorado; and granddaughters, Macy, Blake, LexiAnn, and Addye; aunts, Sybil Brown of Rankin, Texas, and Flossie Hoshall of Marietta, GA, and numerous cousins.

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to all the staff at Senior Care Nursing Center for their great care of Calvin during his time of need.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Johnson's Funeral Home chapel, inurnment to follow in Fairmont Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to your favorite charity or organization.

Faye Kelly, 103 of San Angelo, died Sunday December 22, 2013 at her residence.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday December 26, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Grace Temple with Rev. George Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Kelly was born February 14, 1910 to Jerry Jackson Ramey and Bonnie Belle Tigner Ramey. Faye served in the Army Air Corp during World War II, and was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother John T. Ramey of Baton Rouge, LA; three sons: Glenn Brooks Harriss, Bobby Del Harriss and James Roger Harriss and wife Sue all of San Angelo; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Lawrence Kelly,
