Minerva was born May 11, 1959, in Alpine Texas, to Esiquio & Odilia Mireles. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by brothers Mario, Johnny, and Alfonso Mireles, and sister Rosa Castillo, daughters Olga Enriquez, Leslie, and Marisol Zapata, sons Juan, Joseph, Leroy, and Antonio Enriquez, grandsons Juan Enriquez, Ej and Nathan Carrillo, granddaughters Tajah Enriquez and Andrea Chapman, and numerous family and friends, all of San Angelo.

Minerva was very hardworking, kind, funny, and the most thoughtful person you could ever meet. She saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets. Always from her heart. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
God saw her getting tired,
a cure was not to be.
He wrapped her in his loving arms
and whispered ‘Come with me.’
She suffered much in silence,
her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage,
until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us
but her fight was not in vain.
God took her to His loving home
and freed her from the pain.
