Car Crash Totals Caprice After Driver Runs Stop Sign

 

The driver of a Chevrolet Caprice has been ticketed for failure to stop after running through a stop sign at Live Oak and Tyler St. and striking a white Chevrolet Silverado crew cab truck.

Only minor injuries to the driver of the Caprice were reported in the acident. The truck sustained minor damage but was able to drive away, the Caprice, however is totaled. 

Investigating officers report that the driver of the Caprice was headed south on Tyler St. when he ran the stop sign and collided with the truck.

A Nixle alert was sent out to avoid the area of Live Oak and Tyler, however the crash has since been cleared and the alert has been lifted.
