Harris Annie M.

Annie Mae Horeis Harris was born October 12, 1921 in Tankersley, Texas to John Henry and Minna Horeis. She married Lee Roy (Bud) Harris, December 6, 1941 in San Angelo. She retired from R. G. Barry's after 20 years and became a full time Mama and Nana.

She is survived by her children: Ronald (Bubba) Harris, Russell (Odie) Harris, Ross Harris and Rena Collie and her husband Joe, Grandchildren: Shelley and Julie Harris, Lindsay Harrison and her husband Clint, Tracie Conley and her husband Steve, and Ricky Salvato and his wife Serena; Great grandchildren: Jerry Don, Essie, Savanna, Paris, Cash, Berlyn, Rick, Kamron, Katelyn, Alexis, Sterling, and Coty Lea. Sister-in-law Gail Horeis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Minna Horeis, husband Lee Roy (Bud) Harris, grandchildren Buddy Harris, Risa Harris Burns. Daughter-in-law, Janet Harris. Sisters, brothers and their spouses: Eda Wuemling and husband Albert, Alma Barnes and husband John, Betty Cathy and husband Charles, Bill Horeis and wife Thelma, Walter Horeis and wife Bernice and Herbert Horeis.
Annie Mae died Tuesday morning, February 4th at Park Plaza Nursing Home. 

The Graveside Service will be 3:00 P.M., Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Skip Hill officiating.

We would like to thank the staff, aides, nurses, and all others for their care and caring during Mama's stay. We would also like to thank Dr. Raymond Untalan for the years of wonderful care and caring he provided.


In lieu of flowers please make donations to Park Plaza activity fund or a charity of your choice.
