Pineda Manuel S.

Manuel S. Pineda, 77, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Pineda was born February 17, 1936 in Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a longtime resident of San Angelo.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Joey Faylona, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of the Gutierrez family and Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Carmen Sanchez Pineda of San Angelo; five sons, Alfonso Pineda, Francisco Pineda, Benardino Pineda, Manuel Pineda and Ernesto Pineda all of San Angelo; two daughters, Rosalina Pineda and Irma Pineda both of San Angelo. Other survivors include two brothers, Antonio Pineda of North Carolina and Jesus Pineda of Guanajuato, Mexico and two sisters, Genoveva Pineda and Teresa Pineda both of Guanajuato, Mexico.

Zamarippa Rudolph

Rudolph "Rudy" Zamarippa was born on September 24, 1947 went to his final resting place on February 10, 2014 at 2:00am, after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his Father Ralph M. Zamarippa Sr. and Sister Rosalie Zamarippa. He is survived by his Mother Jessie Zamarippa, four brothers Ralph Jr. and Ronny and wife Gilda of San Angelo, Roy and wife Jeanne of Colorado, Raymond and wife Ginger of Grand Prairie, and, two sisters Rachel Elkins and husband Art of San Angelo, and Rita Tambunga and husband Willie of Lewisville. Rudy had three children Roman Zamarippa and his wife Dana of Marble Falls, Texas and Julie Zamarippa of Duncanville and Oscar Wayne Jensen of Florida and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from Texas and numerous friends from Colorado.

Rudy graduated from Lakeview High School in 1966, where he was an avid basketball player. He attended Angelo State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in 1971. He loved the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and playing racquetball.
Rudy served five years in the United States Army. After his service in the Army he worked for the National Security Agency Aerospace Data Facility in Colorado at Buckley Air Force Base. He retired from that facility on July 1, 2011, after thirty years. He moved to Marble Falls, Texas to be close to family.
The Zamarippa family would like offer a special thanks to all of the Doctors and the Nursing staff of the ICU unit at Seton Williamson Hospital of Roundrock, Texas, for their unending thoughtfulness, love and care of Rudy.

Services for Rudy Zamarippa will be as follows: Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday February 14 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral Church in San Angelo, Texas. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. 

Pall bearers will be his nephews, Roy Zamarippa , Ralph Zamarippa III, Justin Zamarippa, Westin Zamarippa, Colin Zamarippa and Jody Elkins.

The Zamarippa family would like for all condolences be sent to Jessie Zamarippa at 1930 Koberlin St. San Angelo, Texas 76903.
