Sanders Jack

Jack S. Sanders, 86 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday March 15, 2014 at a local care center.

Family visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday March 17, 2014 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday March 18, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Paul Shero, of Southgate Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Jack was born August 24, 1927 in McLean to Robert and Dora (Short) Sanders.
He graduated from McLean High School in 1945 and served in the Armed Forces. He worked as a welder and was a faithful member of the Southgate Church of Christ.

He married Eldred Lucille Ely on April 24, 1960 in Odessa, Texas and they shared 47 wonderful years together until her passing on December 1, 2007

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers; James Franklin Sanders, Jessie Hal Sanders and Bille Bert Sanders.

Survivors include a nephew; Jim Wright and wife, Mary of Big Spring, his Southgate Church of Christ family and his neighbors.

Pallbearers will be Larry Fluitt, Jodie Weeks, Bill Stanley, Steve Holtz, Eddie Howard and Don Mc Kee.
