Standard Conservation in Effect — San Angelo is in standard conservation, which restricts outside watering to ONCE every seven days at no more than one inch per week from Nov. 1 through Mar. 31. Watering is prohibited between the hours of noon and 6 p.m. during these months. Runoff of more than 150 feet down any street, gutter, alley or ditch is also prohibited. More instructions are at the City of San Angelo.

CIUDAD ACUÑA, Coahuila — Twenty Coahuila municipalities signed a four-year memorandum of understanding here Sept. 9 to plan and promote the Ciudad Acuña–Torreón Multimodal Highway Corridor, the Mexican road network that puts trucks on the Del Rio international bridge and, from there, onto U.S. 277 toward San Angelo.

Altima Clips an Infiniti and Winds Up in a Ditch

SAN ANGELO, TX – A dark blue Nissan Altima reportedly clipped the rear end of an Infiniti SUV, causing it to spin out of control and crash into a stop sign at the intersection of US 277 and Old Ballinger Highway. The Altima flattened the stop sign for eastbound traffic on Old Ballinger Highway.

2 Cars Collide on US 87 in Grape Creek

SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas DPS is investigating a two-car crash at 4:19 p.m. on US 87 at Sunflower Ln. One of the crash vehicles was situated in the middle of the northbound lanes. The other barrowed onto the property of a nearby business.
