LUBBOCK, TX — The Angelo State University cross country teams competed at the Texas Tech Open on Friday morning, with the Rambelles finishing eighth and the Rams placing 14th.
The Rams opened the day in the men's 8-kilometer race, finishing 14th in the 23-team field with 404 points.

The Rambelles followed with the women's 6K, finishing eighth in the 20-team field with 234 points. Angelo State finished ahead of Lone Star Conference opponents Western New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico and UT Permian Basin.
