SNIDER MICHAEL LEE

08/28/2014 - 17:56 , by johnb

Michael Lee Snider, 54 went to live in his Heavenly home, surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at a local care center.

Viewing will be 10:00am to 8:00pm on Thursday August 28, 2014 at Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 11:00am on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Fairmount Cemetery with Chaplain J.T. Tucker, officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Michael was born April 30, 1960 in Munich, Germany destined to become a part of Paul and Wanda (Bankston) Snider’s growing family. Michael was a fixture at Miss Hattie’s café and saloon and was known to everybody. Michael never bought anything without a sale, a price match or a coupon. Michael had a love for plants and an amazing green thumb. He would find plants others had thrown away and nurse them back to health.

Survivors include his mother; Wanda Snider of Abilene, sister; Debbie Church of Abilene’ two brothers; Kevin Snider of Oklahoma and Keith Snider and wife, Pam of Dallas, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and many, many friends that were like family to him.

Online condolences may be given at www.robertmassie.com
