Pierce Janet Mae

Janet M. Pierce went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 6, 2014.

Janet was born on March 29, 1930, In Camden New Jersey, to Ruth Kershaw.
She was married to Arthur E. Pierce and they shared 40 years together before he
preceded her in death in March 2000.

Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother who loved cooking
for her family. She was “Nan” or ‘Nana” to everyone especially to her grandchildren. She was
always known for her chicken and dumplings and her homemade bread. Janet devoted her life
to her family and friends and loved being there for everyone. She will be dearly missed by all
that knew her and loved her.

Janet was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brandy Pierce.

Janet is survived by her children Gregori Pierce and wife Shannon of San Angelo, Douglas Pierce and wife Patti of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Dennis Pierce and wife Cindy of Brownsboro, Texas, Candy Woodul and husband Marty of San Angelo. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service will be Christopher Bouressa, Charles Pierce, Arthur Pierce, Kenneth Pierce, Colt Pierce, and H.P. Hale.

Graveside will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Lawnhawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Mary Sandoval for her love and support.

Clark Lois Marie

Lois Marie Clark, of Big Lake, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 peacefully after a brief battle with cancer at her residence.
Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Big Lake.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Big Lake with Rev. Gerald Bastin officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home San Angelo.
Lois was born July 19, 1931 to Bert Kirby and Eleanor (Stacky) Kirby at home in Detroit, Michigan. She married Delton ”Bud” Clark in Farmington, Michigan on November 27, 1950. They moved to Big Lake in 1976.
Lois was preceded in death by her Husband, Bud Clark and 2 sons, Timothy and Brian and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Clark of Big Lake and Larry Clark and wife Linda of Big Lake and her special niece Donna Conarty of Big Lake; three brothers, Bernie Kirby, Dick Kirby, and Willie Kirby all of Michigan and two sister Joann Hall of Michigan and Ellen Allen of West Virginia; one Granddaughter, six Grandsons, seventeen great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
We would like to extend a special thank you to all our family and friends for the many, many prayers they were so very appreciated and we believe without them her road may have been a lot more painful.
