Clara Belle Gaines Deese, 95, passed into a new life on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, in Austin. She was born in Abilene, Texas, July 1, 1919. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, F.M. Deese; and two sisters, Loucille Middleton and Annie Fay King. She is survived by her children, James Deese and wife Carol, Dorothy Deese MacCormack and husband Scott, Barbara Deese Daniels and Bill Deese; grandsons Jay Daniels and Matthew MacCormack; sister Alene Key and husband David; brothers Jessie Gaines and wife Dorothy and Garland Gaines and wife Rena; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by those who knew her. Open visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation from 11 a.m. to noon Monday in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Celebration of life will be at noon Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel, 435 W. Beauregard Ave., San Angelo, Texas. Interment will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Carrie Ybarra, 70 of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014. She was born on January 8, 1944 in Mertzon, Texas to Esequiel and Concho Ramirez. 
Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. 
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; children Fred Ybarra and Dora Ybarra; two siblings, Rosa Ponce and Mary Ann Rodriguez; and a granddaughter, Judy Ybarra. She is survived by her children: Gloria Torres, Debra Ybarra, Richard Ybarra and wife Violet, and Federico Ybarra, Jr. and wife Lisa; sisters: Irene Tarin, Ophelia Lopez, Penny G., and Terri Bermea; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dorothea Virginia Lee Jones passed away peacefully at the age of 100, on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at her residence in San Angelo, Texas. Dorothea was born on Jan. 21, 1914, in Sour Lake, Texas to Merle Robinson and Charles Vernon Lee. She was the third of their five children. In 1927, when she was 13, her father brought the family to San Angelo to pioneer the exploration and production of Permian Basin oil. Dorothea attended school in San Angelo and the University of Texas at Austin. In 1931, she participated in the 12th Annual Galveston Beauty Pageant as Miss San Angelo. She met the love of her life, John William Jones Sr., in 1932, at her debutante event in the Roof Garden at the top of the St. Angelus Hotel in San Angelo. Bill was a marketing representative for Gulf Oil Corporation and came to San Angelo to introduce Gulf products to Mr. Lee to facilitate the operations and production of oil in this area. Her husband to be was introduced to her by her father, C.V. Lee, at the party and Bill was smitten by this young lady. On June 1, 1933, they were married. Dorothea and Bill had two sons, Charles Raymond Jones born April 11, 1934, and John William Jones Jr. born Nov. 15, 1943. They were supportive in their sons' lives with activities such as football, electronics and hunting. Dorothea fell in love with the small village of Cuchara in the mountains of southern Colorado and in 1952, purchased a cabin. From then until 2011, she returned to this slice of heaven to relax, fish, bake, enjoy family and enjoy life. From 1952 until 1961, she would put younger son, Bill, in the car the day after school let out and return him to San Angelo the day before school began again. This is how much she loved Cuchara. Her hobbies were horseback riding, bridge, poker, golf, and hunting with her brother and her husband. Her husband, Bill, passed away on Nov. 1, 1993. They had celebrated 60 years of marriage. Her eldest son, Charles, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 26, 1996. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Cecil Lee, Leslie Lee, Margaret Lee Volkmann and Mary Louise Lee Owens. She is survived by her younger son, John W. (Bill) Jones Jr. and wife Sherri of San Angelo; and daughter-in-law Julia Moore Jones of Houston. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her. Her grandchildren will be her honorary pallbearers: Cynthia Jones Greaves and husband Chris of Poway, California, Lee Jones Taylor and husband Jordan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brandon Jones and wife Lela Rose of New York City, New York, Kimberley Jones Kelley and husband Wesley of San Angelo, Texas and Aaron Jones of San Francisco, California. She is also survived by two nephews, Robert Lee Owens and wife Jerrie of Mason and William Gregg Lee Owens and wife Mary Elizabeth of Austin. The family wishes to thank all of her caregivers and special friend, Misty Carrillo, and the staff of Gentiva Hospice.Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Deanna Gilmore Mayfield died September 16, 2014, at her home in San Angelo, Texas surrounded by her family.

She was born September 3, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas to Floyd and Anna Gilmore. 

Growing up in the small town of Dayton, Deanna learned the definition of volunteerism. Deanna graduated from Dayton High School and entered Southern Methodist University in 1961. She met Stanley Mayfield when she stepped on the Mustang Band practice field. She knew then and there he was the man she would marry one day. They married August 22, 1964, recently celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. 

After graduating from SMU in 1965, she was employed with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. The couple lived in Big Spring, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada while Stanley served in the United States Air Force. After moving to San Angelo in 1971, Deanna became busy in community activities.

She served as chairman of The Concho Cadre, Baptist Memorials Silver Tea, Mayor’s Drug Task Force, Junior American Citizens of The Daughter’s of The American Revolution, 3 year chairman of the Texas High School State Gymnastic Championships, Green House Project at Baptist Memorials Center, Sagecrest Alzheimers Center and co-chairman with Stanley of the 1979 Fiesta del Concho. Deanna served in leadership positions in the Bobcat Booster Club, San Angelo Symphony and Symphony Guild, Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, Charter member of the National Prayer Breakfast of San Angelo, Civic Ballet, Junior League, Crime Stoppers Board of Directors, San Angelo Area Foundation, Trustee of Howard College Foundation, and the first woman president of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce. Deanna was appointed by Governor George W. Bush to serve on the Texas Real Estate Commission. She served as a volunteer on the George W. Bush Presidential Exploratory Committee and then on his Presidential committee in Tom Green County. Deanna served as Treasurer of Mike Conaway’s congressional campaigns.

Deanna was a member of Glen Meadows Baptist Church and served as a member of the advisory council of the International Mission Board. Her greatest joy was attending her grandchildren’s numerous activities. 

Deanna was the proud mother of three children: Lisa Anne, married to Robert Chandler, John Edward, married to Debbie Marlett, and Julie King, married to Brian Barker. She was proud of all twelve grandchildren: Bill and Anna Pickett, Rebekah Chandler, Joseph and Savana Mayfield, and Ashley, Victoria, Sterling, Annalaura, Major, Cooper and Colt Barker. 

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Anna Gilmore, two brothers, and in-laws, John C. and Evelyn Mayfield. 

She is survived by her husband, Stanley, sister, Patricia Puckett and husband Ron, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Cummings and the wonderful Oncology staff of Shannon Medical Center. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5-7pm at Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 10am Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Glen Meadows Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Roller, officiating. Burial will be follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Georgia Sanglier, fell into a deep sleep until resurrection on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at a local care center.

She loved her family and will be remembered by her many friends.

Viewing will be at 10:00am to 2:00pm with funeral starting at 2:00pm at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Celia Ellery, of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. 

She was born March 31, 1928 at Mons, Belgium and came to the United States in 1948. She was employed with the San Angelo State Supported Living Center for 12 years. 

She is survived by two children, John E. Foster of Albuquerque NM; and Patricia Foster Taylor of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren; great grandchildren all whom reside all over the United States of America. 

Prayer Service will be at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard, Christ Lutheran after the cremation.

Ronnie Wilson, 63, of San Angelo formerly of Midland, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 in San Angelo at his home.

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Golf Course Road Church of Christ. Leslie Davidson of Hope in Christ Cowboy Church, officiating. 

Ronnie was born in Pampa, Texas to Bill and Bonnie Wilson on February 11, 1951. He graduated high school at Kermit. In 1974, he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He married Cyndi Corp on May 10, 1986 in Midland. He worked as a policeman for the Midland Police Department for nearly forty years. He graduated from the 136th session of the FBI National Academy in 1984. He earned both Advanced and Master Peace Officer certifications. Ronnie was promoted to Detective Sergeant on March 1, 1987 and Lieutenant on June 16, 1989. As a Lieutenant, he held assignments in the Administrative Services Bureau, the Field of Operations Bureau, the Investigative Services Bureau and the Support Services Bureau. He retired September 30, 2013. 

Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandparents, WM Wilson, Lillie Wilson, TJ Rhea, Willie Ann Rhea and aunt Estelene Baer. 

Ronnie is survived by his wife: Cyndi Wilson of San Angelo, TX , his daughter: Katie Wilson of Philadelphia, PA, his son: Clay and his wife Stephanie Wilson of Mertzon, TX, his brother Howard and his wife Tanice Wilson of Odessa, TX, his parents Bill and Bonnie Wilson of Midland, TX and many other beloved family members.

The family will receive family and friends after the service at the home of Mike Ford, 1002 NCR 1105, Midland, Texas.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
