Roy Lee Dusek

Roy Lee Dusek, 80 of San Angelo, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 13, 2015. He was born on May 10, 1935 in Veribest, Texas to Sam Vince and Frances (Ripple) Dusek.
Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Tallas of Wall Brethren Church officiating with burial following in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Travis, Darwin, Douglas, Edward, and Wayne Dusek, James Maher, Earl Chapman, and Roger Havlak. Honorary Pallbearers will be his other nieces and nephews.
Roy was a lifetime member of the Wall Brethren Church, and he was the first to be baptized there. He was also a member of the Wall Fire Department, and he had served in the Army National Guard for six years where he attained the rank of Sergeant.
As an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. He liked to go elk hunting in Colorado, and would go fishing whenever he got the chance. He also enjoyed dove hunting with his family and friends. However, his greatest love was the love of the land, where he farmed and ranched from the time he was out of school with his brother Eugene by his side.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Marvin Dusek, and his sister Lilly Dusek. Survivors include three brothers: Eugene, Billie Ray, and Wally Dusek; three sisters: Dorothy Havlak, LaVerne Mikeska, and Carlene Maher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Roy's honor to the American Cancer Society , the Wall Brethren Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 195, Wall, TX 76957, or a charity of your choice.

Jesus De Leon

Jesus G. De Leon, 72, of Big Lake passed away on August 13, 2015 in Big Lake.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church in Big Lake. Interment will be held in the Glenrest Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ernestina De Leon of Big Lake, two sons, Paul De Leon of Odessa and Jesus "Joey" De Leon of Big Lake. Other survivors include his sisters, Elvira Martinez of Midland, Blanca Sandarte of Mexico, Olga Riojas of Hereford and his brother, Ramon De Leon of Longview.

Grandchildren, Fabian De Leon, Chelsea De Leon, Clarissa De Leon of Odessa, Ebony De Leon, Chelsey De Leon and Ashley De Leon. Pallbearers will be Fabian De Leon, Frank Sablan, Bob Pena, Gabriel Pena, Melchor Padilla and Joey De Leon.

Shirley Fink, 79, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in San Angelo. She was born February 12, 1936, in Bradford, PA, to Edward and Grace Fink. She is survived by her children, Marcia Rogers, Richard Oaks, Jr., Audrey Truelove, and Bonnie Spath. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Grape Creek Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.

Millie Pair

Millie Pair, 91 of San Angelo, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 8, 2015. She was born on February 10, 1924 in Donna, Texas to William and Cassa Hazelett.
Funeral service is at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scooter McCurdy of Lakeview Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Millie Pair loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother more than anything. She was part of the Greatest Generation, supporting her husband of 59 years, Major Jerry Pair, who flew in the Berlin Airlift and served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam before they returned home to San Angelo to start a new career.
After Major Pair passed away in 2002, Millie lived with her daughter, Jerrie Lynne, in Nashville, Tennessee. Millie loved to quilt and work jigsaw puzzles, and never went anywhere without a crossword puzzle book in her hands. She loved her Lord, her family, and her country.
Survivors include her children: Jerrie Lynne Adkerson, Gary Dwain Pair, and Ronnie Neil Pair; grandchildren: D. Michelle (Greg) Adkerson, T. Alicia (Jim) Adkerson, Tracye (Mark) Mayolo, Amy (Bill) Mimms, April (Jason) Gale, Christopher Pair, and Joshua (Amanda) Pair; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Joyce Lackey, Bessie Dow, June Rauch, and W.L. Harden.

Fay Grimes

Fay Grimes, 77, passed away Wednesday at her home in San Angelo surrounded by loved ones. She was born to the late, Woodrow and Ora Mae Thompson Joiner on Thursday, December 2, 1937 in Crystal City, Texas. Fay married Don Grimes on November 27, 1970 in San Angelo. She worked as a waitress most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. Fay enjoyed camping and fishing as well as watching old westerns. She has been described as "driven". She was family oriented in every sense of the phrase. Her grandchildren brought her great joy. Her strong will and independent spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Fay is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, including her twin sister.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Don Grimes; children and their spouses, Bobby Gray and Terry, Donny Gray and Janice, Angel Parker, and Rebecca Connaly and Curtis; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Family Room at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015 in the Johnson's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joni Lancaster officiating. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM in the Paint Rock Cemetery.

David Guerrero

David Guerrero aka "Crocket", of San Angelo, TX, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday August, 10 2015. David was 47, he was born on April 27, 1968 in Post, TX. He was preceded in death by his father Florentino Guerrero, his mother Frances Diaz Nunez, and his brother Oscar Guerrero. He is lovingly remembered by his children Tino Guerrero, Selena Guerrero, and Victoria Guerrero, from San Marcus, TX and Timothy Garcia of Portland, OR. Also mourning the lost are his brothers and sisters Florentino Guerrero Jr., Carlos Guerrero and Wife Ruby, Noelia Guerra and Husband Ray, Norma Guerrero, Samuel Guerrero, Nora Ponce and husband Juan, Joel Guerrero and wife Sonia, Daniel Guerrero and Partner Radu Manta, and Sister in law Linda Guerrero. He is also survived by the light of his life, his granddaughter Leeann Cavazos.
David will be remembered amongst his family and friends, as an outstanding musician, who inspired many, including many of his nieces and nephews to pursue their love of music. Uncle David was known as the "Grill Master" of the Guerrero clan. As David would say, "If you can't grill it, it's not worth eating". Because of our loss, family gatherings will lack the sound of David playing his guitar and reminding us that Jesus is coming soon.
A prayer service will be held at Templo Siloe, 1625 Upton San Angelo, TX on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at Paul Ann Church, at 2531 Smith Blvd, San Angelo, TX on Friday August 14, 2015 at 12 noon, with Rev.

Jennifer Lynn Zuniga

Jennifer Lynn Zuniga, 30, of Venus, FL, a precious mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter, died much too early on Sunday, August 10, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jennifer was born in San Angelo, Texas on Friday, July 5, 1985 to Tomas and Carmen Zuniga. At the age of 4, she and her family moved to Lake Placid, Florida. She was a 2004 graduate of Lake Placid High School and attended South Florida Community College for 2 years. Jennifer worked in lake Placid and most recently had been employed in St. Pete, FL. at the Pinellas County Health Dept. as a supervisor in the Human Affairs department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Placid Lakes and was passionate about art, especially painting and writing poetry.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Cort; parents, Tomas and Carmen Zuniga; siblings, Cynthia and Gil Zuniga; maternal grandparents, Jose and Olga Gomez; paternal grandmother, Cresencia Zuniga; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Johnson's Funeral Chapel with a time of visitation to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 AM, Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, San Angelo.

Frans DaNaune Bloodworth

Frans DaNaune Guest Bloodworth

Born February 19, 1934 to William Gobel Guest and Dorotha Cornelius Guest in Deport, Texas. She joined her loved ones in heaven on August 10, 2015.
DaNaune moved with her parents to west Texas when she was in grade school, graduating from Lubbock High School. She married James William (Bill) Bloodworth, August 18, 1951. They had four children together. DaNaune had always had a desire to complete her education and went back to school earning both her Bachelor (1967) and Master's Degree (1971) in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. DaNaune began her teaching career in 1967 at Coronado High School in Lubbock. Bill's job transferred him to Dallas in 1970 and she completed her teaching career at North Mesquite High School.
DaNaune accepted Jesus as her Savior as a child and never wavered from that commitment to her Lord. After she and Bill retired from their jobs, they went right to working full time for the Lord. They were avid RVers going from mission opportunity to the next serving wherever they were needed from 1991-1998. They visited all 50 states in their ministry career. They served in Laguna Park, Texas from 1998 to 2008, moving to San Angelo in 2008 living and serving the Baptist Retirement Community faithfully.
DaNaune is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Gary David Bloodworth. Survivors include loving husband of 64 years Bill Bloodworth; brother John Guest; sons Vernon (Vickey) Bloodworth and William E. (Martha) Bloodworth; daughter Cheryl (Neal) Duffey; grandchildren: Heather (Charley) Newton, Tamberlyn (Ryan) Burrow, Lisa (Joel) Townsend, Bryan (HannahLee) Duffey, Stacey (Thomas) Owen, Amanda (Mark) Hammer, J.W. Duffey, Angela (Daniel) Collier, and Becky Bloodworth; and nine great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Funeral service is at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. Graveside service is at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
