Roger Glen Dyer, 69, passed away peacefully at his home in San Angelo, Tuesday, September1,2015. Visitation will be all day, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the funeral home with family present from 6:00 to 8:00p.m.
Graveside service will be at 10:00a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 in Pioneer Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Grape Creek.
Glen Dyer was born to the late Jack and Thelma Dyer on September 29, 1945 in Coleman, Texas. Glen married his companion and love of his life, Sharla Dyer on August 10, 1963 in Coleman, Texas.
He was always on the go. Glen loved to go and start new projects “now if he finished them was always the challenge.” Granddad was always up to a challenge though, he always did so much for his family he would know if it was broke before you did so he was the handyman of the family. Fishing was something he liked to do, he loved to take his lovely wife and go fishing at Twin Buttes. When the Great grandkids came he was always busy with them; he loved doing things for and with them so much.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dwaine Dyer; and sister, Jane Arnold.
He is survived by his wife Sharla Dyer; brothers, Wade and wife Shirley Dyer, Ralph Dyer; children, Ronnie and wife Sabrina Dyer, Stacy Dyer; grandchildren, Josh and wife Alicia Pyle, Jimmie and Dana Dyer, Kimberly Dyer and Jason Gaston, Cory and Catie Dyer, Gerald Dyer; great-grandchildren, Paxton Gaston, Zoie Gaston, Kaiden Dyer, Kolten Dyer, Montana Dyer,Weston dyer, Carson Boyd, Jordyn Pyle, Dylyn Pyle, Angelica Pyle, Amelia Garcia, Ashley Garcia, and Isaiah Garcia.
