Coleman Jennifer Lynn

Jennifer Lynn Coleman, 56, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 13, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Jennifer was born September 29, 1958 in Cortez, Colorado to Speck Culpepper and Agatha Sue Tabor Culpepper and lived most of her life in Texas. Jennifer met the love of her life, Phillip Wayne Coleman, and married him on October 17, 1992 in Midland, Texas. She was Director of Staffing with Critical Health Connection for many years. She was just recently preceded in death by her mother, Agatha, on January 3, 2015.
Jennifer was a strong woman who loved so fiercely that anyone she met could feel it. She was a woman who cared about her family and friends more than herself. She was the most stubborn woman with the best advice. With a tahti in her hand, she had a PhD in Coleman Porch Therapy. A woman with a gypsy heart finally found a home with her soulmate and raised an amazing family to share their love unconditionally.
She is lovingly survived by her father, Speck Culpepper; step mom, Sue Culpepper; her husband, Phillip Coleman; her children, Phildon Coleman and his children Madison and Paxton, Michael Coleman and his daughter Rylan, Kilea Coleman, Stephanie Coleman and her daughter Peytiin Dominguez, and Conner Coleman; her brother and his wife, Cullie and Robin Culpepper; her sister and her husband, Gloria and Tom LeBleu, and her sister Sandy Culpepper.
Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Benson officiating.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Jennifer and her mother at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Cattle Barron's in Midland, Texas.
In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas, Texas.

Survivors include her daughter Donna Holden, son Mitch Davis, and brother Ricky Darnell, all of Big Lake.

Billington Troy Clayton

Troy Clayton Billington, 81, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 in a local care center.

Family visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 16, 2015 at 9th and Main Church of Christ with Josh Romo officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Troy was born July 2, 1933 in Trent, Texas to Louie Adrian and Laura Faye (Bass) Billington. He attended school in Childress, Texas, joined the United States Air Force, and served from July 7, 1954 until October 31, 1974. Troy then worked for the Department of the Air Forces Civil Services for twenty years before moving to San Angelo in 1995. Troy loved to help others. He delivered meals to the elderly and often stayed with the ill or elderly so family members could run errands. He was faithful member of the 9th and Main Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of six years, Janice Billington; brother, Royce Billington and his wife Alma; a niece, Donna Reed; and nephews, Andy Billington, Rick Billington, and Keith Billington.

Lozano, Jr. Reyes H.

Reyes H. Lozano, Jr., 84, passed away Monday,January 12,2015, at his home in Eldorado, Texas. He was born March 24, 1930, in Brackettville, Texas.

When he was a young man, he joined the United States Marine Corps. In November of 1959, he was united in matrimony to Agnes Kelly. He was a mechanic most of his life. He loved working on cars including all the cars in the neighborhood. Reyes also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was called "J.R." and "Junebug" by close family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 55 years, Agnes of Eldorado, TX; daughter, Jo Ann Cavazos (husband Alfred); and his son, Bobby Joe Lozano of San Angelo; 5 grandchildren: Victoria Cavazos, Elizabeth Deskins, Adrian Lozano, Bobbie Ynostrosa, and Carlos Lozano.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at St. Luke Baptist Church in Eldorado, Texas. Interment will follow at Schleicher County Cemetery in Eldorado.

Coleman Mary Frances

Mary Frances Gregory Parmer Coleman, 77 of Miles, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2015. She died peacefully after a long struggle. Graveside services are 11 AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Mullins Cemetery with Rev. J. T. Tucker officiating. Services are entrusted to Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mary was born on April 10, 1937 in Alexis, Illinois to Merle Ellsworth Gregory and Della Lucille Taylor Gregory. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Mary married Donald E. Parmer on February 4, 1956. They moved to San Angelo in 1957. She later married Bennie Coleman and moved to Miles, where they were dairy farmers for many years. Later years, Mary became a Nursing Assistant and worked at Baptist Memorial. She became ill and had to retire. Mary was a very hard working lady and was deeply loved by her family.

She is survived by: daughter Patricia Lang and husband DM of Miles, sons Gary Parmer of League City, David Parmer of Perkins, OK, and Mathew Bert Parmer and wife Geneva of Miles, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, brother Jim Koch of Chicago, IL, and sister Carolyn Goforth of Cape Girardeau, MO. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Smith Jr. David Larkin

David Larkin "D.J." Smith, Jr. 43, of San Angelo went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Katy, Texas. D.J. was born January 10, 1971 in San Angelo, Texas to Rev. David L. and Gaynell Park Smith. He grew up in San Angelo and graduated from Central High School. After high school, D.J. moved to Colorado and after a few years he returned home to San Angelo. He married April J. Gutierrez on April 9, 2010 in San Angelo and they were blessed with almost five beautiful years together. Their daughter Kamryn or "Kambug" as D.J. affectionately referred to her, was the apple of his eye. He truly adored his family. D.J was an optician at a local eye care center, but he had numerous other trades as well. He worked at Lee Junior High for a short time, was a craftsman in the construction business and a martial arts instructor. His true passion in life was for the Lord, his family and taking care of others. He was a caregiver by nature and he always wanted to make sure everyone was as comfortable as they could be. D.J would go out of his way to take care of people, especially his family. He had many interests in his life; among them were his love of snowboarding, going to the firing range, martial arts, watching television, especially the history channel and being and avid NFL football fan. D.J. was a very gifted talented young man who truly loved his family and we will carry him in our hearts forever! He is survived by his Wife, April J. Smith, of San Angelo; his daughter Kamryn Smith, of San Angelo; his Parents, Rev. David L. and Gaynell Smith, of San Angelo; his Brother, Jason Smith and his wife Angela, of San Angelo; and Aunts and Uncles, Gary and Pam Park, of San Angelo and Don and Sandy Langum, of Modesto, CA; and numerous cousins and other family members and close friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Fermin Lucio, Felix Savala, Lloyd Hablizel, Terry Gauwain, Michael Hall, Gary Hardegree and Steven Whitlock. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Johnson's Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2015 at Word of Life Church with Pastor David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
