Raymond Cortez, 43, went to be with our father in heaven on January 7, 2016. Raymond was born on April 11, 1972, to Jesse Cortez and Esperanza "Hope" Ramirez in San Jose, California.
His big smile could be seen from afar. He loved the outdoors, grilling with his brother-in-law, Raymond Flores, who he loved and respected like an older brother. He loved his sister, Sonia C. Flores, even though she is younger, he saw her as a big sis. His nieces and nephews were dear to him, having one special one "Jessie Flores." He found Jessie to be, even though much younger than him, to be a person he could talk to about anything and everything. He would laugh with him as he also cried with him; they had a very close bond. Raymond was loved by many and will be missed dearly. He was employed by Ramon Flores, his brother-in-law, at Flores Lawn and Landscape, being his right-hand man. He was a very dependable and meticulous person.
