Concho Valley PAWS is now leading an effort to convince all local pet owners to have their pets spayed or neutered to prevent the City of San Angelo Animal Shelter from euthanizing hundreds of animals because of overcrowding.
On average, two children under the age of 13 were killed, and an estimated 374 were injured, every day in 2019. While most people believe their children are properly buckled up, NHTSA estimates about half of all car seats are misused.
On Tuesday afternoon the City of San Angelo released a statement regarding the animal shelter. In the statement it was confirmed that San Angelo will no longer be a no-kill community due to constant overpopulation.
After physically inspecting the conveyance, officers extracted 266.75 pounds (121kg) of alleged methamphetamine which was concealed within the trailer.
