Ready or Not, 1st Day of School is Thursday!

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo ISD 2023-2024 School Year begins on Thursday, August 17. Need last-minute information or tips? San Angelo ISD’s website can help. The school district has a countdown to the start of school page on its website with all information anyone needs if they are sending their child to school this year.

“San Angelo ISD teachers and staff can’t wait to see our students’ smiling faces on the first day of school this August 17th, and to get to the great work of growing hopes and dreams!” SAISD said via its website.

On the Back to School page, there is a Helpful Resources section that has all the frequently asked questions and resources typical for the start of the school year. Included are the attendance zones, bell schedules, bus routes, code of conduct, district calendar, dress code, information for military families, student handbook, and student illness protocols. 

San Angelo ISD also offers free printable “first day of school” signs for pictures on Thursday.
