Piel Georgia Ann

Georgia Piel, 90, of San Angelo died Thursday, January 23, 2014. Georgia was born February 14, 1923 in Rowena, TX to Joe and Otilia (Sklenarik) Boehm.
She grew up on a farm at Vancourt, after living for a short time in the Mereta area. She attended school at Eola.
Georgia married Forrest Wells and moved to San Angelo where they lived until his death in 1973. She married Adolf Piel in 1975. They were members of the Wall Polka Club and enjoyed dancing at the VFW Hall until his death in 2008.
Georgia worked at Monarch Tile for many years and then at Pace Drygoods. She was a member of Concho Valley Czech Heritage Society. 
She never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. Georgia loved sending greeting cards, and receiving them made her smile.
Dunbar Restaurant was her home away from home. Not only did Georgia enjoy her meal but it was the love of her friends that brought her back day after day. If she wasn't at Dunbar, she was visiting friends at Paco's Place and Zentner's Daughter.
Georgia was able to stay living at home by having caring neighbors, the Youngs and Moores. They were not just neighbors but family to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Forrest Wells and Adolf Piel.
Georgia is survived by her cousin Robert Sklenarik; distant cousins; longtime friends Ralph and Ruby Matschek; and friends far and wide. She will be missed by her dog Trixi Girl.
Rosary will be Monday, January 27th, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 P.M. Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart on Tuesday, January 28th at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Joe Warren, Greg Matschek, Grant Matschek, Mark Sklenarik, Paul Sklenarik, and Robert Young. 
Honorary pallbearers are Robert Sklenarik, David Blazek, and DJ Moore.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Luna Eunice Puente

Eunice P. Luna went to be with her Lord and savior on 24 Jan 2014 after a long and courageous battle of kidney disease. She will join her beloved that preceded her, parents, Tomas B. and Margarita (Aguirre) Puente, husband Fidel H.Luna, her sisters, Edelmira "Marie" Hoosier, Aurora Campos, and Rebecca Cisneros, one brother Efriam Puente, one grandchild Ricardo Reyes. 
Eunice was born on Dec 8, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a homemaker, but the joy of her life was taking care and being with her loving family. Survivors include daughter Mary Jones and Husband Ernest, Rosamaria T. Martinez and husband Eliazar, Alice Reyes and husband Juan, Fidel Luna Jr and wife Rachael. Her brother Abraham Puente from Bakersfield, CA; Grandchildren: Nathan, Ashley and Amber Jones, Catherine, Andrew, Michael Martinez, and Susan Castenada, Juan Reyes Jr., and Adriana Luna; and 11 great grandchildren. 
Prayer service will at 6 p.m. on 26 Jan at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Carlos Valenzuela officiating. Funeral Service will be on 27 Jan at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Thank you Odessy Hospice, Shannon Dialysis and especially Allan Prest and Reba, Rachael her caregiver and all the wonderful nurses and staff that cared for our mother. We will miss you and love you. You will always be in our hearts. We will see you again mama.

Kimberly Michelle Taylor Clark, 46, of San Angelo, TX passed away Tuesday, January 21th.

An open viewing will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home, Saturday Jan. 25th 11:00 am to 1:00pm, and a private gathering for close friends and family immediately following. 

Kim is survived by her children: Amber Carns, Lindsay Clark, Ashley Clark and Adrian Renvato, her siblings: Michael Taylor, and Jeanna Hoffman, her mother: Doris Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.

Okcha Smallcomb, 68, of San Angelo passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 

Rosary service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. 

Okcha was born on March 16, 1945 in Masan City, South Korea. She graduated from Masan City Girls High School and attended a local university before marrying Joseph Smallcomb in 1974. Upon marriage, she emigrated to the United States as a proud Air Force wife and was a loving mother of three children; Jennifer, Patricia and Joseph. She has resided in Plattsburgh, New York, the Island of Crete, Greece and San Angelo, Texas. She was a loyal Ethicon employee for 17 years before retiring in 2007. 

Okcha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and faithful friend to many. She had a wonderful sense of humor, generous heart and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Okcha enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, watching NBA Basketball and spending time with her family and beloved dog, Mighty. She lived her life selflessly, always caring for her family first. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers and one sister. 

Okcha is survived by her husband, Joseph Smallcomb of San Angelo; her three children; Jennifer Smith and her husband, Jeffrey of Woodbridge, VA; Patricia Smallcomb of Savannah, GA and Joseph Robert Smallcomb of San Angelo; granddaughter, Allison Smith of Woodbridge, VA; two sisters Yong Suk Seung of Silver Spring, MD; Misuk Kim of Seoul, South Korea; a brother Manki Kim of Centreville; VA and many nieces, nephews and other family members who reside in Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Hawaii and South Korea. 

The Smallcomb family would like to extend a special thank you to her caring physicians and nurses throughout the years at Shannon Clinic and Medical Center.
