Bute Isaac

04/29/2014 - 14:19 , by johnb

Isaac Michael Bute was granted his angel wings on Friday April 25, 2014 following a lifelong illness. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Isaac had touched in some small way throughout his short yet very memorable life.

Isaac’s life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time. His gentle smile could melt the hearts around him and though he never spoke a word his voice and thoughts could always be heard.

Although Isaac’s illness made him spend a lot of time in Shannon Hospital, we felt very loved by Dr. Sherrod, the nurses and everyone that in one way or another had to be involved in his care.

Isaac possessed strength, perseverance and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

Isaac loved cuddling especially with grandma. He also loved music, the sounds of birds, playing on his piano and most of all chewing his index finger.

With Isaac’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated.

Although we will miss him every day especially his winning smile, he will forever be in our hearts. Through his teachings about life we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his mother.

Isaac leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Isaac’s love extends to his wonderful nurses and there’s a special place in our hearts for Dr. Sherrod, because of her continual dedication, love and support Isaac was able to survive some of his toughest medical challenges. She went far and beyond the call of duty, she was more than a doctor she was a friend.

Thank you Dr. Christina Sherrod.

He will be dearly missed by all his caregivers, a special thanks to Sharylon Babb, homehealth caregiver, and all the special people too numerous to mention who provided Isaac with love and dignity in his life and in his death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014, 2:00 pm at the Jerusalem Assembly of God. Burial will take place in the Delta Memorial Park under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Isaac is survived by his loving mother, Vianney Cantu, Grandmother, Josie Carrasco Grandfather, Lazaro Olivas; great grandfather, Meliton Carrasco all of Mereta, TX; great grandmother, Raquel Carrasco of Portales, NM; aunt Vianca and uncle Jesus; his closest cousins Alan Ivan; great aunts Annabell Carrasco, Norma Carrasco, Elsa Carrasco, Chris Carrasco, Laura Carrasco, great uncles Juan, Micheal and Milton Carrasco.

Isaac M Butes forever in our hearts.
