Injury to a Child and Drug Possession Mark Tuesday Inmate Bookings

Tuseday, 29 inmates were booked into the TGCJ, some for arrests made that day, others for previous charges and warrants. 

Possession of drugs accounted for the highest number of inmates, bringing in five with an additional four charged with pot possession. Assault , DWI and theft each accounted for three charges apiece, followed by deadly conduct, injury to a child/elderly/disabled person, possession of a switchblade and public intoxication with one arrest apiece.

Two people were booked into the jail Tuesday for abandon/endanger a child/criminal negligence, and for injury to a child. 

Thirty-one inmates were released on Tuesday.
