Touchstone Wanda "Lorene"

Wanda “Lorene” Touchstone, 79, of San Angelo passed away Sunday September 21, 2014 at her residence.

Family visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday September 25, 2014 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Belvedere Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be William Richard Crawford, Ian Martinez, Randy Allen, Dominic Ruiz, Jerry Hunt and Herman Harper.

Lorene was born May 2, 1935 in Bandera County, Texas to Eddie and Jewell (Wilson) Hinds. She graduated in 1960 from Shannon Memorial School of Nursing as an RN. Lorene taught the LVN San Angelo School of Nursing Program with her Aunt Marie Hoover. She retired after 30 years with the Public Health Department in San Angelo. She married Otis D. Touchstone Jr. in November 28, 1953 in San Angelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, D’Wayne Touchstone; brothers, Leon Hinds and JR Hinds.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Touchstone of Spokane, Washington; Reba Lindsey of San Angelo; and Audrey Aguirre and her husband Richard of San Angelo; brothers, Cliffton Hinds of Leander; and Glenn Hinds of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister, Reba Rees of Spokane, Washington; Grandchildren, Crystal Hughes and her husband Greg of Bushland; Cody Wayne Geiser of Kansas; Ian Martinez and his wife Sonia of San Angelo; and Chelsea Aguirre of San Angelo; Great grandchildren, Isabella Martinez, Olivia Martinez, and Jeremy Molina all of San Angelo; Aiden Hughes of Bushland; and Lena Geiser of Fort Worth.

The family request memorials to be made at the Odene Crawford Fine Arts Scholarship at Angelo State University, 2601 West Ave N, San Angelo, Texas 76909.

Ker Milady L.

Milady Mikeska Krieg Ker passed away on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 100. Milady Lillian Mikeska and her twin brother, Walter, were born in Concho County on July 23, 1914, to Frank and Anna Mikeska. Milady graduated from Eola High School in 1934, and married Sigfrid V. Krieg, an Eola area farmer, in 1936, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Eola, where she retained her membership until her death. They had one daughter, Nelda Jean, and were known in the Eola community for their participation in church, community and school activities. After Sigfrid passed away in 1963, Milady married Ivan Ker in 1969. She continued to live on her farm until deciding to move to Rio Concho West, a retirement community in San Angelo in 2000. In March 2013, she moved to Rio Concho Terrace and in March 2014, she moved to Austin to be near her daughter. In May 2014, she transferred to Park Bend Health Center and in August was admitted into care by Hospice Austin. Milady is survived by daughter N. Jean Martin; stepdaughter Bitsey Loy (and husband Buddy); and stepsons Jon Ker (and wife Terri), Tom Ker (and wife Linda), Kim Ker and Milton Ker (and wife Betty); as well as one granddaughter, Carole L. Martin; and several step-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Milady was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Sigfrid Krieg and Ivan Ker; sisters Annie Garrett and Matilda Eldridge; brothers Frank Mikeska, Joe Mikeska, Bryan Mikeska, John Mikeska, Victor Mikeska, Walter Mikeska, Charles Mikeska and Adolf Mikeska; and stepsons Ivan Cronnie Ker and Jac Ker. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m Friday, Sept. 19, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Trinity Lutheran Church, San Angelo, with burial following in Eola Cemetery.

Prosise Nancy Marie

Nancy Marie Prosise, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at a local nursing home. She was born on Sept. 2, 1947 in Erath County to W.L. and Marjorie McGuffin Prosise.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at Eden Cemetery with Pastor Chris Curtis of First Baptist Church in Eden officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
Nancy worked very hard to provide for her family. She worked many years as a nurse's aide and as assistant activity director at the Eden Nursing Home. She was also a devoted Christian and attended services at her church every chance she got.
Nancy will be remembered as a loving aunt and grandmother. She loved taking the kids fishing or to the park to play and have fun. She would have moved heaven and earth for her grandkids and nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ronnie Prosise; a great-grandson, Adrian Kris Araiza; and numerous friends and family. She is survived by daughters Christy Short and husband Tom of Weatherford and Stephanie Suniga and husband Deigo Bermea of San Angelo; five grandchildren: Desiree Hinkle, Cody Short, Steven Suniga, and Maria and Gabriel Suniga; sisters, Barbara McElroy and Gail Clifton; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to any breast cancer foundation or any child protective services organization.
