Eugene Lopez

Gene was born November 15, 1933 in Llano, TX and went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2015 at the age of 81.
A Vigil service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2015, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
As a celebration of his life we will wear red in honor of his favorite color.
Gene always had a big smile and lived life to the fullest. He was the greatest Pepo to all his granddaughters and great grandkids. He was a kid at heart himself.
At the early age of 16 he went to work at a boot shop in Llano. He became a very well known boot maker and was featured in several books and magazines. His work was also featured in a traveling boot exhibit that went across the country. He made boots for several celebrities like Tommy Lee Jones, Jerry Jones, Barry Pepper, Colin Powell, Tanya Tucker and several NFL football players. He even made boots for a Saudi Prince.
He married Dolores Robles on November 8, 1952 and they enjoyed a loving life for 62 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Gene is survived by his wife Dolores Lopez, daughter Eva Yolanda Echavarria (Jessie) and granddaughters Jessica Echavarria, April Castro, Debbie Echavarria. Daughter Elizabeth Montez (George) and granddaughter Valerie Montez. He also had 5 great grandchildren Daniel Lucero, Diego and Jessie Castro, John Paul and Lilliana Castillo. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Joyce and Walter Banks and brother in law Bob Stinespring and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the RN's Roy, Dala & Jennifer and aids on 5th floor at Shannon for the great service and support they provided Gene and the family.

Ronald Warren Gore

Born to Donald and Nerva Gore on November 9, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas, Ronnie was the second of five children. He lived in San Angelo, Texas, Lubbock, Texas, and Big Lake, Texas. He was married first to Nancy Hampton in 1961. That union resulted in a daughter, Sherra Lynn Gore. In June of 1971, Ronnie was married to Suzanne Weedon and from that union came a second daughter, Jennifer Ann Gore. He was finally married to Doris Hallmark in 1990 by which he gained a "bonus" son, Joseph Michael Gore.

Ronnie was a Veteran of the Vietnam War during which he served in the Army as a "Black Lion" with the 2/28th Delta Company from July 1967 to July 1968. He was a retired postman of the US Postal service, a musician, musical instrument dealer, and DJ known as Mr. Boogie to those who knew and loved him. As a musician, Ronnie played the mandolin, guitar, and sang vocals for The Gore Brother's Band, Cool Water Trio, and most recently Concho Grass all of which specialized in Bluegrass music. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge of Big Lake, Texas. He had a passion for family, fun and music and was dearly loved by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Don "Donnie" Gore and brother, Donald "Pard" Gore. Ronnie is survived by wife, Doris of Big Lake; daughter, Sherra Condren and her husband Monty Condren of Lubbock; daughter, Jennifer "Jenni" Shipman and her husband Michael "Mike" Shipman of Lubbock; son, Joseph Gore of Big Lake; grandchildren, Danielle Trout, Nicholas Trout, Ryan Trout, CJ Condren, Jesse Shipman, Justin Shipman, Gabriel Randall, Robyn Randall, Ella Gore, and Eli Gore; mother, Nerva Gore of Ballinger; brother, Winford Gore and his wife Liz of San Angelo; brother Jon Gore and his wife Dana of Ballinger; brother Gary Gore and his wife Katie of Weatherford; five great grandchildren, eight nephews, one niece, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Ronnie's family will receive friends Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas. A Celebration of Ronnie's Life will be at the First Baptist Church of Big Lake, Texas on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Ronnie's memory to the Concho Valley Girl's Home, a charity that was near and dear to his heart.

Martha Faye Gully

Martha Faye Coleman Gully, 68, died Thursday, March 5, in San Angelo, Texas, after a courageous battle with liver disease.Martha was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Coleman, Texas, to Garland Gay Coleman and Eula Mae Simonton Coleman. She graduated from Central High School in 1965. She earned a degree in respiratory therapy from Howard College.She worked for Shannon Medical Center as a respiratory therapist until retirement in 2005.She married Kenan Gully in 1986. They raised five children: Chris Aldridge, Kevin Alridge, Marissa Sellman, Russell Gully and Randy Gully.The couple lived in San Angelo all their married lives.Martha enjoyed a rich family life. Her children remembers she has the world's largest VHS collection. Christmas was her favorite time of the year when she would put out her large collection of Santa Claus objects and other Christmas decor, to the delight of her children and grandchildren. She also never passed an opportunity to shop, attend a movie with her great friend, Carol Niehues, or chat on the phone with her lifelong friend, Becky Shamburger.Martha is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ken Gully; five children; 13 grandchildren (the loves of her life); and many nieces and nephews.Martha was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Gloria Gail Sorrell and Barbara Sue Olson.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, followed by internment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers include Kenneth Niehues, Tom Clemens, Thomas Clemens, Sean McCollum, Khris Weber, Steve Keel and Randy Sorrell. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Johnson's Funeral Home.The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Meals for the Elderly.

Leobardo Duran-Esparza

Leobardo Duran-Esparza, 74, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, in San Angelo. He was born February 3, 1941, in Mexico, to Zenaido Duran and Ruperta Esparza.

He is survived by his wife, Maria del Carmen Pulido; sons, Uriel and Luis Duran of San Angelo, and Jose Alfredo Duran of California; daughters, Rosio Duran of san Angelo, and Guadalupe, Guillermina, and Magdalena Duran of California; sisters, Consuelo and Adelaida Duran of Mexico.

Funeral Services will be held in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico.

Harvey Lee Koenig, 87, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at a local care center.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Walt Landers officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Harvey was born on May 22, 1927 to Ben and Opal (Oliver) Koenig in Burkett, Texas. He entered the Military after high school and married Pat Perkins in Fredericksburg, Texas on August 31, 1957. He was a truck driver for Gandy’s.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; wife; youngest son, Roy Lee Koenig; sisters, Bennie Preas; and Early Mae Preas.
Harvey is survived by his daughter, Margie Graham and her husband Tommy of Abilene; son, Johnny Koenig and his wife Mary Ann of San Angelo; daughter, Judy Shockey and her husband David of Abilene; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Howard Lee Clay, 49, of San Angelo TX, passed away on Mar. 5, 2015 in San Angelo, TX.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM ,Monday Mar. 9th, 2015 at Hobbs, NM 88240 with the Dr. Fredd B Adams,II of St. Paul Baptist Church officiating at Lane Chapel CME, with Larron Fields Pastor. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Howard was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to JoAnn Jackson & Howard Leon Clay on Sept. 15, 1965. He went to school in Hobbs. He worked as a Surface Heavy Equipment for 3S Services.

Howard Clay is preceded in death by his father Leon Clay, Paternal Grand Parents Clim and Lorene Clay; Maternal Grand Mother Katie Mae Chapple.
Uncles Hollice Clay, R D Rockmore and Aunt Mildred Clay

Howard is survived by his mother JoAnn Connor (Will) of Hobbs, NM his Mom Patricia Clay of San Angelo, TX, Girlfriend Michelle Robertson of San Antonio, TX, Sisters Tami Clay-Mitchell (Shawn) of Saginaw, TX, Regina McGruder of Dallas, TX, Rhonda McGruder-Gallardo, of Dallas, TX, Cheri’ Clay-Reed (Elex) Pflugerville, TX, & Telytha Blackburn (Tyres) of Frisco, TX. Brothers: Eugene McGruder (Tina) of Idaho, NE, Paul Edwards of Idaho, NE and Leon Clay of San Angelo, TX., numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Brian Clay, Brett Clay, Terence Fields, Aaron Adams, Marquis Neal and Nathaniel Woods

Memorials may be given to memorials of choice.

The family of Howard Clay wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Shannon’s ICU Team, St. Paul Baptist and Regency House family, friends and family that came by or prayed from afar for all your support, prayers, and love.
