Robbi was born September 16, 1974 in Odessa to Gary and Jane (Hanson) Cox. Her family moved here in 1991 and Eric and Robbi got engaged, were married July 31, 1993 and worked side by side as co-owners of Rosa’s Café. Robbi graduated from Central High School in 1993 and received her degree from nursing school in 2010. Her honors include graduating Magna Cum Laude as an honor graduate and making the Dean’s List and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She worked as an LVN at Regency House Nursing Home.
Robbi was the most beautiful person, inside and outside, a loving forgiving wife to her husband, amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend and would always help anyone. Her and Madelynn were best friends and they were each other’s worlds. She was the type of person who made everyone happy, made anyone feel like they knew each other for their entire lives. She loved to go hunting with Eric and we will remember her laugh, her smile, her determination, her support of others, her giggle and her rock music.
Pallbearers are Bill Guffey, Duane Jones, Michael Fritz, Kelly Roe, Junior Tackett, Richard Nix, Frank Carter and Scott Smetana.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wendell and Phyllis Hanson and step grandmother, Sandra Cox.
Survivors include her loving husband, Eric; children, Ashley and Hunter Hasty and granddaughter, Madelynn Hasty; parents, Gary and Jane Cox, sisters, Pam (Troy) Klausner and Wendy (Jason) Wright, mother and father in law, Bill and Becky Hasty, sister in law, Misty Hasty, brother in law, Cody (Melody) Hasty, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A special thank you from the family to her best friends who were more like sisters, Lisa Jones and Leslie Gentry for all the help they provided our family and to all the family members and friends who have been there for us during this difficult time.
Eric and his family will never be able to express how much his fellow officers at the San Angelo Police Department have meant to him by showing their support during this time.
Your family will always love you, Robbi, Forever and Always.
