Donald Craven Faubion

Donald Craven Faubion, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 15, 2015, in San Angelo. He was born to the late Arthur Faubion and Mary Ethel Craven Faubion, November 7, 1928, in Leander, Texas. His parents were descendants of pioneer families that settled in Williamson County. He was a 1946 graduate of Leander High School and lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He served four years in the US Air Force. After service to his country he began a career with the United States Postal Service in Austin, Texas. Upon retirement he moved to San Angelo, Texas in 1985. Donald was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church. First, he was a member of the Leander Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. Upon moving to San Angelo he became a faithful member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church. 
During Don's retirement years he engaged in his three favorite past times. First, he spent many years behind the wheel traveling through the United States, especially the Western States. He also pursued his interest in Western art. When he was at home he faithfully followed his favorite sports teams. 
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Earlene Faubion; daughters, Debra Faubion of Galveston, TX, and Cindy Barba of Austin, TX, and son-in-law Marcelo Barba; granddaughters, Elissa Collins of New Orleans, LA, and husband Forrest Collins, and Caroline Barba of San Francisco, CA; sister, Dr. Norma Faubion of San Angelo, TX; and brother, Winston Faubion of San Angelo, TX. 
Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2015, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Davenport-Herbst officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation following the service at St. Paul. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 19, 2015, at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, TX, under the direction of Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Paul Presbyterian Church San Angelo and Leander Presbyterian Church, Leander, Texas.

William Curtis Robinson

William Curtis Robinson, 81, left his earthly home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, October 15, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Curtis was born December 6, 1933 to Irene Canoy Robinson and William Preston Robinson in Mize, MS. 
He was considered a "Prince of a Man" by many who knew him and was not bashful about sharing his faith in God. He will always be remembered for his sweet smiles and genuine concern for others. 
Curtis attended school in Shaw, MS and married the love of his life, Irene Kennedy on June 1, 1952. They celebrated 63 wonderful years together. 
He was a deacon for many years in churches he attended in Greenville, MS, San Angelo, TX, and Tupelo, MS, as well as the church secretary for over 20 years. Curtis retired in 2007 from AutoZone, Inc. after 30 years in management and 20 + years Presidents Club and in 2008 moved back to San Angelo to be near their children. 
He is survived by his wife, Irene of San Angelo, his son Michael Robinson and wife Kathy of Big Spring, TX, his daughters, Rhonda Robinson and Renee Jenkins both of San Angelo, grandchildren Michael Clark Robinson (Jennifer) of Shelton, WA, Austin Robinson (Dianne) of New Berlin, WI, Rachel Riviello (Ryan) and Bryan Jenkins (Kristine) of Fort Worth, TX, Julie Mullins (Brad) of San Angelo, Jennifer Wright of Lubbock, TX, and Jeremy Wright (Samantha) of Leavenworth, KS, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and his beloved dog, Zoe. Siblings include Marie McDonald of High Point, NC, Delma McGaugh of Hattiesburg, MS, and Emmit Robinson (Eleanor) of Swanton, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Opal Robinson. 
We would like to thank Hospice of San Angelo for their wonderful care, especially Nurse Pam Murphy. In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to Hospice of San Angelo or the Alzheimer's Association. 
Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 19, 2015, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bryan Jenkins, Ryan Riviello, Dean Jenkins, Brad Mullins, Kelley Ullrich, Jeff McGaugh, and Jeremy Wright.

She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Rodriguez and Carmen Rodriguez; sons, Eddie Renovato and Edward Renovato; and by her sister, Juanita R. Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapel of Remembrance. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 that evening at the funeral home chapel.

Celia Ramirez Barron

Celia Ramirez Barron, 93 passed away on October 14, 2015 at her residence in Red Oak. A prayer service will be 6 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday, October 19, 2015, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Pastor Daniel Olivan officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.

She was born on March 27, 1922 to Ruperto and Juana (Mendez) Ramirez in Del Rio. She married Jesus Barron on February 16, 1942 in San Angelo. Celia spent her life taking care of her large family. She enjoyed growing flowers and quilting. She was a member of Segunda Iglesia Bautista.

Celia is survived by: her children, Jesse Barron, and wife Mary of San Angelo, Ilda Aguirre and husband Jesse of San Angelo, Esther Flores and husband Israel of San Angelo and Diana Cortez and husband Eliberto of Red Oak, daughter-in-law Alice Barron of San Angelo, brother Lucio Rameriz of Acuna, Mexico, 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband of 56 years, Jesus, and son Sam Barron.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Flores, Zachary Rivera, Edward Deleon, Nolan Cortez, Elijah Davis, and Austin Barron.

Barbara Mae Alsman

Barbara Mae Alsman, 80, of Miles, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at an area nursing home.

She was born on July 7, 1935 to John and Aleen (Pennington) Sinclair in San Angelo, TX.
She graduated from Central High School at the age of 17. Uniquely Barbara was a semi-pro Dance Roller-skater in the late 1940’s, worked as a bookkeeper, and served as a House Parent for various children’s homes across Texas. On April 4, 1953 she married Harvey Alsman in San Angelo. Barbara and Harvey lived in Miles. She was truly a loving “Pip”, always happy, smiling, singing and giving her love unconditionally to those whose lives she touched.

She was a member of various Baptist Churches and her devout faith defined her entire life.

Barbara is survived by her loving spouse of 62 years Harvey Darrell Alsman, son, Tony Alsman of Burnet; daughter, Brenda Marvel and husband, Jon of Miles; brother, Robert Sinclair of San Angelo; granddaughter, Cindy Rodgers and husband, Matt of Garland; grandson, Clayton Waggoner of Houston and great-grandson, Garrett Lee Rodgers of Garland.

She was preceded in death by father, John Alvin Sinclair, mother, Aleen Sinclair, sister, Reba Fogle.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015, 9:00 am - 10:30 am at Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, 11:00 am at the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.

Emmett Otto Eggemeyer

Emmett Otto Eggemeyer, 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Visitation and Rosary service is at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Fr. Stephen Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery in Olfen, Texas. Pallbearers are Steve Beach, Jerry Don Multer, Richard Moeller, Richard Wilde, Bobby Fuchs, and Bill Halfmann. Honorary Pallbearers are Daniel Seidel and Eddie Russell.
Emmett was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1937, to Walter John and Alma Ocker Eggemeyer, east of Rowena, Texas. He attended Olfen Public School for ten years, then Ballinger High School. Emmett was an excellent marksman, having learned to shoot at age four with his first air rifle. Through 4H Club and FFA programs he won many awards. He drove the Olfen school bus, and worked for Gabbert Meat Company in Ballinger. He drove the transport truck for Ballinger Butane Company, and worked for the Wilde Cotton Gin of Rowena. For 25 years Emmett worked for Seidel Construction of San Angelo driving heavy equipment until an accident caused him to retire early.
In 1960, he married Christina Fenwick and they adopted a daughter, Sandra Marie. Later, he married Jessie Mae Elliott. She passed away from cancer in 2005. Emmett loved to dance, hunt, and fish. He was proud of his clock collection and association with his Facebook friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Arnold W. and Homer Eggemeyer of Olfen. Survivors include his sister Geneva E. Russell and husband Lee of San Angelo; nephews Nick, Curtis, and Tyrone Eggemeyer; nieces Becky Moyer, Bonnie Favor, and Gena Van Tries; and adopted daughter Sandra Marie.
Memorials may be made to Meals for the Elderly, 310 E Houston Harte, San Angelo, 76903, Hospice of San Angelo, P.O. Box 471, San Angelo, 76902, St. Boniface Cemetery, 1118 CR 234, Rowena, 76875, or your favorite charity.

Ira Hubert Pool

Waiting to meet Jesus, Ira Hubert Pool, left us on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the age 95. Ira H. was born on February 25, 1920 in Richland Springs, Texas to Leonard Dalco Pool and Annie Phillips Pool. He was raised in Richland Springs where he graduated from high school and went then to attend Texas A&M University. He married Willie Mae Lee in 1942 and the family moved to San Angelo in 1951. Ira H. worked with American National Life Insurance until his retirement. He enjoyed playing a mean hand of dominos with anyone who would sit down and give it a try. He also enjoyed cooking and being in the Lord's House. He became a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in 1951; he loved his Pastor and his Sunday School Class. Ira H. was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Willie Mae Pool; and his daughter, Sylvia Ann Pool Parks. In December of 2000, Ira H. married Doris Young; a lady with a sweet heart that he had known from his Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Young Pool; his son, Ira Lee Pool and wife, Kandi of San Angelo; son-in-law, Jon Henry Parks of Mertzon; grandsons, Jon Eric Parks and wife, Martha of LaPorte, Jason Henry Parks and wife, Shonna of Mertzon, and Ryan Lee Pool and wife, Annette of Del Rio; his sister, Mora Pool Gober of San Angelo; and 11 great grandchildren. He loved each one dearly! His grandsons will be his honorary pallbearers.

Family visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2015 in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastors Tommy Richardson of Immanuel Baptist Church and Lakan Mariano of College Hills Baptist Church officiating.

The family would like to extend their grateful hearts to the nurses and staff of Hospice of San Angelo, especially to Pamela Murphy whose kindness and soft care made his last days truly comfortable. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Hospice of San Angelo.

Paige Lucile Conner, infant, was both gifted to this world and entered into Heaven on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in San Angelo, Texas. Although she was not with us long, she will forever be remembered in our hearts. Paige was greeted in Heaven by her family members who preceded her in death:
great grandparents, Vernell Conner and Ed & Melba Collier; and
great great grandmothers, Cora Lucile Nabors and Ruby Gordon.

Survivors include her parents, Chad Edward Gerald and Rachel Dawn Willyard Conner; brother, Brody Michael Gerald Conner; grandparents, Gerald & Charlotte Conner, Tedd & Shelli Johnson, and Shawn & Amy Willyard; great grandparents, Robert Conner, Richard & Corina Gordon, Pete & Barbara Martinez, Wallace & Shirley Johnson, and Jim & Janice Blanken; great great grandmother, Lavern Simmons; numerous aunts, uncles, cousinsand a host of other relatives and friends.
