Cindy Murray De Leon

04/11/2016 - 18:27 , by johnb

Cindy Ella De Leon

Cindy De Leon, age 39, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 7, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Cindy was born on April 16, 1976 in Alpine, Texas to Linda and Thomas Murray. Her most fond childhood memory was assisting her Paw and Bit on the ranch with the cows and horses. Nothing in her young years brought her more joy than getting her hands dirty in West Texas nature.
A loving wife and mother of three, Cindy worked every hour of the day to provide a good life for her family. She engaged in the artistic works of the world, caring for all animals, and actively pursued Christ in strong faith daily. Her customers at the Friendly Flower Shop asked for her by name, knowing she would take great care in the order. So this goes without saying that another one of her joys included making everyone around her comfortable and happy; even the flowers were perkier in her mists.
Rosary will be 7:00pm Sunday April 10, 2016 at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am Monday April 11, 2016 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Steven Hatch, officiating. Burial will follow at Marathon Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home and Chapa Funeral Home of Ft. Stockton.
Pallbearers will be Pete Lopez, Carlos Gardea, Jesse Valenzuela, Ron Fox, Chris Hardin and Pete Martinez.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Richard Murray, grandfathers; Johnnie R. Robertson and Thomas W. Murray and a grandmother, Marguerite Shell Murray .
Survivors include her husband of 13 year, Jack De Leon, three daughters; Sierra, Jayden and Cheyenne, parents; Thomas and Linda Murray all of San Angelo, grandmother, Verda Lee Robertson of Alpine, sister, Christi Yancey and her daughter, Kirsten of San Angelo; brother, Tom and Mona Murray and their children; Thia, Averi and Thomas David Murray of Corpus Christi , two uncles John “Bit” Robertson of Alpine and Ronald Fox of Jerrell, mother in law, Rufina De Leon, sisters in law; Michelle Natera, Mary Garcia and Renee Ibarra and their families, all of Ft. Stockton and a dear friend, Donna Herring of San Angelo.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of San Angelo (36 East Twohig Ave San Angelo, 76903) and House of Faith (321 Montecito Drive 76903). A special thanks to Pamela from Hospice of San Angelo for taking great care of Cindy during this trying period.
