Margaret Chancellor, 95, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 9:00 Am until 8:00 PM with a family visitation from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, with Rev. Michael Chancellor, Margaret's son, officiating. Mrs. Chancellor was born January 29, 1925, in Welch. She was a 1943 graduate of Tilden High School. Margaret attended business school in Lubbock. She married J. L. Chancellor on July 3, 1946, in Odessa. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1982. She was a homemaker. Margaret helped J. L. with Chancellor Gulf Service Station in Odessa. During their time in Odessa the family attended Crescent Park Baptist Church. Margaret was a resident of Odessa from 1946 through 1979 moving to their dream home in Midland County. She has been a San Angelo resident since 2007. She was a member of First Baptist Church in San Angelo.

Survivors include her three sons, Jim Chancellor and wife Linda of Eldorado, Michael Chancellor and wife Anna of Round Rock, and Bill Chancellor of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Chancellor of Red Oak; eight grandchildren, Jeff Chancellor and wife Bridget of Eldorado, Julie Smithwick and husband Kyle of Miles, John Chancellor and wife Laura of San Angelo, Tim Chancellor and wife Mandie of Round Rock, Joseph Chancellor and wife Karen of Fremont, California, James Chancellor of Round Rock, Nichole Draffen and husband John Matthew of Tyler, Miranda Hawk and husband Shay of Waxahachie; 18 great grandchildren, Jaime, Jaetn, Baeln, Regan, Dawson, Curry, Katie, Lana, J.R., Noah, Connor, Abby, Zoey, Addie, Kaylynn, Clara, Emery, and Riley; a very close niece, Neysa Marcantel of Orange; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Fancher and Ray Fancher; and a sister, Myrna Cain.

Rebecca Lynn “Becky" Woodrow, 54, passed away in San Angelo.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Tamara Strehli, associate pastor of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church, officiating. Rebecca Lynn Woodrow was born on December 11, 1965, to Dorothy May Woodrow and Joel Thomas Woodrow in Houston. Becky grew up, was educated, and graduated from high school in Houston. She was a beautiful, precocious child, who loved to spend time with her father in his garden full of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Becky and her mother shared a love of music and pets, and Becky especially enjoyed playing the piano. Becky had a large extended family and often spent time with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. Becky was very fond of her Aunt Olga and Uncle John Woodrow, and as an adult, lived many years with them in San Angelo. While in San Angelo, she met and fell in love with Larry Boyle. They married, and shared a common bond in their love of The Lord; they attended church services at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church for many years, and later watched messages on television. On May 16, 2007, God gave to them their most precious gift, their son Cody Allen Boyle. They were so grateful to have him in their lives, and were devoted parents. Becky sent pictures of Cody to family, with updates on his milestones, and delighted in each one. She always had a proud smile and a twinkle in her eyes when she spoke of him; he was the light of her life.

On a warm Spring night, God sent special angels to wrap Rebecca in their wings and take her to be with her Heavenly family.

Survivors include her husband Larry and her son Cody, along with many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Her big blue eyes, blonde curls, sweet smile, and loving heart will be missed by all who knew and loved her, and we will hold her in our hearts forever.

Madonna "Donna" Nielsen, 94, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020, in San Angelo.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 29, 2020, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nielson was born May 1, 1926, in Defiance, Iowa. She married Robert Nielson and he preceded in death. Donna has been a resident of San Angelo for over 50 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a farmer.

Survivors include 17 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Wirtz, Norbert Wirtz, and Alfonz Wirtz; and five sisters, Margaret Majerus, Ann Schmieding, Clara Wilwerding, Rita Rauterkaus, and Dorothy Reising; two nieces, Marlene Sylliaasen and Jane Ann Martin.

Eddie G Zamarron, Sr. passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 in San Angelo, Tx.  Viewing and visitation will start on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.  A Rosary will be read on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the "Remembrance Chapel" of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 N Oakes St., San Angelo, Texas.  Funeral Service will be on Monday at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Claudio Sanchez officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.

Eddie Gomez Zamarron Sr, 75, passed away on June 25, 2020 in San Angelo, Texas. Eddie was born on April 4, 1945 in San Angelo. He began working, at the age of 10 as a shoeshine boy, in the streets of south Angelo and never stopped. Through the decades, he owned or managed multiple businesses, most notably his full service Gulf stations, Town & Country night club, and La Fiesta night club. Later, as plant manager for Mrs Rios Tortillas, and retired as an independent tortilla sales distributor. All these jobs involved his two passions, meeting people and giving his customers the best service. With his embracing smile, no one was a stranger. From the dishwasher to the restaurant owner, he treated everyone with equal and genuine respect, referring to everyone as “primo” (cousin).

Eddie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Sonia, a daughter Michelle Zamarron of Brownwood; a son, Eddie Zamarron Jr and wife Margaret of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Ramon (Bertha) Zamarron, Eloise (Ron) Juhl, Mary Lou Andrews, Isabel Soto (friend Armando), Pilar (George) Cheney of San Antonio, Mary Inez (Joe) Suarez of Del Rio, Jesse (Veronica) Zamarron of Houston, and numerous nephews and nieces. Eddie is preceded in death by parents Ramon and Eulogia Zamarron; son Hector Zamarron Sr; sister Clara Moreno.

The family sincerely thanks Joaquin Villareal, Hospice of San Angelo, and Park Plaza Nursing Home staff for their compassion and care.

Doris Faye Pfeiffer Halfmann left this earthly place to enter the gates of Heaven. A vigil service will be held at St. Ambrose Church on Thursday, June 25th at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will also be held at St. Ambrose Church on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 am. There will be a public mass with overflow seating in the Parish Hall facilities. Please bring a mask as they will be required upon entry. 
Doris was born to Charlie Pfeiffer Sr. and Elsie Hermann Pfeiffer on April 6, 1938 in Brenham, Texas. As a little girl, she helped her mom, dad, and brother on the farm everyday. Her parents operated a Brooder house selling eggs to local businesses. Doris would gather and wash eggs everyday. Her mother gave her an Elna sewing machine at the age of 12 years. She began to learn how to sew. Her dad gifted her a pair of hair clippers which started a lifelong hobby of cutting hair for friends and family of the community. Doris met the love of her life, George, on a blind date. They married on November 7, 1956 at St. Ambrose church in Wall. Their reception was the first in the St. Ambrose brick hall. Dad and mom began their life together. Dad farmed and played in a band while mom worked as a telephone operator in Garden City, Texas. They later moved to Veribest, farming 60 acres. In 1960, they built a three-bedroom home for $5,000. 
Doris and George enjoyed the hunting and fishing bunch. They also had a domino group for 30 years! She looked forward to dancing many times at weddings and numerous events. Doris loved working in her beautiful yard and garden. She helped dad many times building fences and working sheep and cattle. She was infamous for her homemade chicken noodle soup and coconut cream pie that everyone favored the most. 
It will never be known how many stitches of love she put into countless clothing items for anyone that was in need. This included hundreds of bridesmaid’s dresses, wedding gowns, and priest vestments/alterations. Doris was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society, giving many hours of dedication to St. Ambrose Church. George and Doris shared 63 beautiful years of marriage together. 

Preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Elsie Pfeiffer and her brother Charlie Pfeiffer Jr. 
Survivors include her husband, George Allen Halfmann; Children Becky Trojcak(Billy), Greg Halfmann(Debbie), Jeanie Schniers(Daryl), Connie Weaver(Eric), Kathy Braden(Brian), and Christy Katcsmorak(Jason). 
Grandchildren: Lora Beth and Warren Robicheax, Kirk and Rachel Trojcak, Sara Halfmann, Brian and Sadie Woner, Scott Halfmann, Brett and Julie Schniers, Amby and Jon-Michael Cline, Layton and Jaci Schniers, Rance and Tori Roberts, Dawson Weaver, Taylor Braden and fiancé Will Dutton, Layne Braden, Rylee Braden, Emma Katcsmorak and Macy Katcsmorak. 
Great-Grand Children: Jake Robicheaux, Luke Robicheaux, Katherine Robicheaux, Harlyn Trojcak, Shyanne Trojcak, Wyatt Woner, Hayes Woner, Tyson Woner, Brinlee Schniers, Cohen Schniers, Gracie Cline, Kate Cline, Bransyn Schniers, and Corley Schniers. 
Nephews include Faron Pfeiffer, Brent Pfeiffer and Kevin Pfeiffer. 
Honorary Pallbearers: Scott Halfmann, Brian Woner, Kirk Trojcak, Warren Robicheaux, Brett Schniers, Layton Schniers, Jon-Michael Cline, Rance Roberts, Dawson Weaver, Layne Braden, and Will Dutton.

Our Precious mother, sister, and friend Gloria Henry Gunter, born February 28, 1956, went to be with her Lord Jesus Monday June 22, 2020 at 12:22 p.m. She lived a life full of love for her family pets and plants. Gloria loved fishing and being at the lake. She was blessed to have moved back to her beloved hometown of San Angelo after living many years in Ledbetter, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Gunter Jr, mother, Willie B Henry, father, JR Henry, and brother, Gerald Ray Henry. She is survived by 2 children, James Shawn Kirkham of San Angelo ,Tx, April Moore and husband Jerry Moore Jr of Giddings Tx, sister Darlene Henry Huckabee and husband Rodney Huckabee of Midland Tx, 4 grandchildren, Savannah Creppel, Brooke Creppel, Skylar Moore and Jonathan Kirkham from Giddings Tx. W.D. Tate, 87, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020, at his home.

Private graveside services will be Friday, June 26, 2020, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Tate was born October 1, 1932, in San Angelo. W.D. has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Bobbie Lawson on February 14, 1952, in San Angelo. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2014. W.D. was a salesman from 1955 until his retirement in 1994 for West Texas Utilities. He later worked for Walmart from 1995 until retiring in 2005.

Survivors include his son, David Tate of San Angelo; two grandchildren, Mason Tate and Sarah Tate and friend Sam Truitt all of Austin; and two great grandchildren, Royce Von Truitt, and Harper V. Truitt. W.D. was preceded in death by a brother Donald Ray Tate; and a sister Wanda Lou Gabbert.

Jack Marshall Porter, Jr.,81, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020, in San Angelo surrounded by family.

Direct cremation is under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Porter was born October 27, 1938, in Brady. Jack married Jo Ann Gilbert on September 17, 1960, in Tom Green County. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2019. Jack was a veteran of the National Guard achieving the rank of Private E-2 getting out in October 1961. He worked water well until 1962. Jack went to work for Cox Drilling Co., Truckers Drilling Co., and Patterson Drilling Co. as a truck Driver until he retired in 2003.He worked in oil field for 41 years. His love was fishing (Bass Fishing). Jack was a member of the Concho Bass Club for many years.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Lynn Warner and husband Gary of San Angelo; his two sons, Randy Marshall Porter and wife Jane and Danny Ray Porter and wife Debbie; five grandchildren, Jeffery Sessom, Jason Gibson, Anthone Salgren, Brenden Porter and Sterlin Porter; 13 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous extended family.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of San Angelo for their loving care for Jack.
