An aggravated felon with a confirmed gang affiliation history was arrested thanks to the rapid response by Border Patrol Agents in Santa Teresa. The felon was part of a group of two illegals encountered illegally into the United States. The previously removed individual had convictions for unlawful transport of firearms, felon in possession of a firearm, and receiving stolen property.
“I’m excited to be part of the next generation of warfighters in this program,” said Warrant Officer 1 Jacob Mettlen, a San Angelo, Texas native and the program’s first non-prior military service WO1 graduate.
