San Angelo is in standard conservation, which restricts outside watering to twice every seven days at no more than one inch per week from April 1 through Oct. 31. Watering is prohibited between the hours of 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. during these months. Runoff of more than 150 feet down any street, gutter, alley or ditch is also prohibited. He mentioned that the U.S. Attorney Jeff Haag failed to introduce the jury to the man who bribed him, Richard Wells, the multi-millionaire public safety radio dealer from San Antonio who gave Vasquez $178,000 so Vasquez would convince the City Council of San Angelo to spend $5.7 million upgrading Wells’ company’s installation of Harris radios in 2014.

Team Roping Duo Takes Lead on Friday Night

Thursday’s run didn’t work out the way the team roping tandem of Brenten Hall and Paden Bray had hoped. The duo suffered a five-second penalty when Bray only secured one leg instead of two in his heel loop, pushing their first-round time to 9.0 seconds. That takes them out of title contention at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo, but it didn’t stop them from trying to make some money.
