Chadbourne Construction Adjusted so Concho Christmas Parade can Proceed

SAN ANGELO, TX — Roadway demolition and utility work at the Chadbourne Street and College intersection is complete, the city announced Friday morning.

Remaining construction will focus on the center of the intersection so the Concho Christmas Parade can proceed as planned

Work at the intersection is expected to be finished before the last two weeks of December, according to the weekly construction report from the City of San Angelo.

The next phase, at the 2nd Street and Chadbourne Street intersection, is scheduled to begin the week after New Year’s Day. That phase is expected to take three to four months and will include detours. Access to businesses within the work zone will be maintained during construction.

The section from Beauregard to College is open to traffic, with limited access from Harris to College from the south. Street lighting is scheduled for installation in December; street and pavement markings will be completed later in the project.
