SAN ANGELO, TX — This year's San Angelo Gives fundraising campaign, which concluded Tuesday, May 5, raised over $4.5 million for local nonprofits.
A total of $4,553,162 was raised through 10,427 donations.
Angelo Catholic School led the way with $265,245 in donations, followed by Cornerstone Christian School raising $184,500.
The next eight were:
- House of Faith - $154,350 (314 donation)
- Pregnancy Help Center of the Concho Valley - $141,820 (288 donations)
- The Garden Gathering INC. - $117,310 (12 donations)
- San Angelo Christian Academy - $115,500 (179 donations)
- Meals for the Elderly - $112,390 (272 donations)
- Concho Valley Turning Point - $101,397 (480 donations)
- San Angelo Area Foundation - $100,530 (19 donations)
- West Texas Counseling & Guidance - $97,095 (108 donations)
San Angelo LIVE! interviewed several individuals and groups involved with San Angelo Gives — including Meals for the Elderly — along with the following efforts:
- Recovery & Revival Connection - $38,287 (62 donations)
- United Way of the Concho Valley - $13,925 (29 donations)
- San Angelo Broadway Academy - $13,110 (44 donations)
- Gods Ark Animal Rescue - $5,210 (31 donations)
- Night to Shine - $3,425 (21 donations)
- Carlie Jo’s Journey Memorial Scholarship - $2,780 (25 donations)
- What’s on My Ballot - $1,425 (8 donations)
Last year, San Angelo Gives raised $4,156,822. Since it began in 2015, the campaign has generated more than $34 million for nonprofit efforts.
