Linda Lorene Griffith went to be with our Lord & Savior on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the age of 70 with her loved ones around her. 

Linda was born on October 1, 1954 to parents Betty Sue Griffith Mitchell & Truman Lestlie Griffith in Hatch, New Mexico. She graduated from Reagan County and held many jobs over the years. Linda worked as a private nurse, job coach for mentally and physically handicapped people, newspaper delivery person, truck driver, caterer, bird breeder, and all positions in a cafe to name a few. Linda was a proud member of the Sonora Fire Department Aux., Beta Sigma Phi, and VFW Aux. When she wasn't working or volunteering, Linda enjoyed drag races, decorating, and bird watching. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; son, Scotty Odom; brother, Vernon Lee Harris (Mitchell); and nephew, Josh Mitchell. 

Left to cherish Linda's memory are her sons, Sam Merck Odom Jr III, Shawn Ryan Odom and wife Rita, and Justin Mathew Odom; grandchildren, Alexander Mike Odom, Dakota Collins, Dennis Collins, William Ryan Odom & Shelby Lynn Odom; sister, Cindy Mitchell; and nieces, Jacy Mankin and husband JL, and Bethany Love and wife Kylie. Linda also leaves behind many friends and cousins. 

An open visitation for Linda will be held throughout the day on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Schmitz will be present from 5:30 - 7:30 PM for comfort and spiritual guidance. A graveside service will occur Friday, November 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Barnhart Cemetery with Pastor Mike Schmitz officiating.

Tammy Annette Moorehead, 53, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at her home.

Services are 10:00 AM Monday, November 4, 2024, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Buck, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moorehead was born August 25, 1971 in Key West, Florida. Tammy has been a resident of San Angelo since 1991. She married Jeff Moorehead December 13, 2011 in San Angelo, and she was a homemaker. Tammy attended Immanuel Baptist Church. She loved making cards, jewelry, doing embroidery, work plastic canvases, and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Moorehead of the home; two sons, Nathan Schulte of the home, and Dylan Austin of San Angelo; a daughter, Audrey Austin of Chesapeake, Virginia; two brothers, Robert Pittman, and Troy Reid, III both of San Angelo. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Michelle Long.

Kay Havins Clay, 77, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, in San Angelo.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Angelo Bible Church with Pastor William "Pistol" Hood and Pastor Jim Stanley, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clay was born November 4, 1946 in San Angelo. Kay has been a resident of San Angelo since 1998 moving from Robert Lee. Kay married Michael Clay on March 25, 1999 in San Angelo. Kay worked as the business manager for the Robert Lee ISD retiring in 2003 and later at H&R Block as a tax preparer from 2005 retiring in 2017. Kay was a member of Angelo Bible Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and dabbling in painting. Kay loved celebrating holidays. Kay's salvation through Jesus Christ was one of the greatest lessons she learned.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Clay of the home; her son, Greg Grim and wife Misti of Marble Falls, Melissa Herring and husband Jim of Stanton, and Shelbi Eugenis and husband Eric of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren, Ashley Hanes and husband Aubrey, Kyle Russell and partner Kali Mendez, Jared Russell and wife Lynda, Brittani Juarez and husband Hector, Christian Herring and wife Megan, Amanda Medrano and husband Lance, Amelia Duarte and husband Bryan, Jacob Eugenis and wife Abigail, Caleb Eugenis, and Emili Eugenis; 16 great grandchildren, Addyson, Avery, Audrey, Elijah, Judah, Silas, Acelyn, Jaxson, Aubri, Zoei, Aiden, Christian, Kannon, Sterling, Maisyn, and Madisyn; and three great grandchildren on the way, Jackson, Paityn, and Russell; a brother, Bill Havins and wife Judy of Pleasanton; two special nieces, Jan Havens and Linda Havins both of Dallas; many nieces, nephews.

Harvey Ray Granado, 78 of Midland passed away peacefully Thursday, October 24, 2024 in San Angelo.

Rosary and Liturgy of the Word will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Claudio Sanchez, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Granado was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a man who touched many souls while he was alive. He had a rough early life but tried his best to be worthy. For those that knew him, they will remember him for his quick wit, very specific style and most of all his love and generosity for children.

Later in his life, Harvey was humble but proud man who worked really hard, even beyond the capability of his body to provide for his family. In his spare time he enjoyed time with them. His proudest role was being "Popo" to his grandchildren. He spent countless days at the park, taking them to the lake to feed the ducks, listening to oldies/tejano music, simple city bus rides with his grandchildren with no destination just to see a smile on their face. It was a simple thing that made a regular day into an adventurous one. He was a simple man, who loved his newspaper, coffee, and like any true Texan man, he lived for football. We believe his one purpose in life was to love the children in his life, he was born to be a grandpa to many children.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Narciso and Sandra Granado, brothers and sister, Joe, Humberto, José, and Ida Granado.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Granado; his children, Ismael and wife Esther, Xiomara and husband Adrian, Corina and husband Adolfo, Harvey, Albert and wife Priscilla; his grandchildren, Avary, Yohana, Noah, Christian, Arabella, Solomon, Courtney and husband Edward, Ryan and wife Angelica, Miranda, Marissa and husband Conan, Meghan, Brock, and Kaitlynn; his great grandchildren, Madison, Andrew, Nicolas, Emilia, Zoey; and his sister Maria Ceballos.

Donald Henry Niemann, age 93, passed away peacefully at home in San Angelo, Texas on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 after a long battle against prostate cancer.

Graveside services will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Military honors will be rendered by Joint Base San Antonio Air Force Base Honor Guard.

Donald was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Henry Jacob Niemann and Margaret Loreen Niemann. Donald was married twice during his lifetime, first to Virginia Rosemarin Niemann and later to Julianna (Judy) Margaret Niemann, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his only son, Edward Henry Niemann. Donald is survived by his grandchildren, Audrey Deanne Niemann (and her daughter Mallorie) and Benjamin Graeme Niemann (his wife Sarah, and children Rhys and Sophia).

Donald served honorably in the United States Air Force for 30 years, with assignments that took him across the globe. A man of great talent, Donald was a brilliant artist who also deeply appreciated the creations of others. He also had a love for photography, traveling, world history, philosophy, and technology.

Donald was a man of few words but had a firm character. He was humble, disciplined, cultured, and deeply devoted to his family. This love for his family and his generous spirit toward those he cared about were defining aspects of his life.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Wilma Ice Goodwrench Henry Jones, 82, passed away in the early hours Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in San Angelo.

No services are scheduled. Cremation is under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born March 4, 1942 in a holler of West Virginia to Dempsey and Sylvia Ice.

Survivors include but not limited to her son, Ric Henry and wife Pilar; grandchildren, Boyd Henry and wife Lindsey, and Kendyl Henry; great grandchildren, Sean Henry and Luci Henry; step-children, Terry Groves, Kevin Jones, and Joe Jones.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Wilma's special friend and caregiver, Emma Campos for the attention she provided.

Mark K Speed of San Angelo Texas passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 54. He was born on October 12th, 1970, in Calais Maine to parents Eric and Sandra (Boucher) Speed.

Mark had a passion for life that he showed in his love for family and friends. He made so many people laugh and loved to fill their bellies with his amazing barbecue. He was an avid sports fan and followed his teams religiously. But Mark’s pride and joy was his children, Jamison, Kallen and Landrie. There is nothing in the world that he loved more or was prouder of than them.

Mark is survived by his children Jamison Speed, Kallen Speed and Landrie Speed, his parents Eric and Sandra Speed and his sister Jennifer Stonehocker and her husband Brandon and their daughter Kaya.

A memorial service will be held for Mark at Calvary Baptist Church on November 2, 2024 at 1100 am.

Jason Lee Blackstock, 46, of Bronte, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2024, in San Angelo. Jason was born on September 17, 1978, to Bill Blackstock and Martha Ann Walker. He spent his younger years in Big Lake, TX but later the family moved to Bronte, and he graduated from Bronte High School. After graduation he went to work for the Wendland Ranch. During his career he would work for the Arrott Farm and Ranch, the Graves Farm and Ranch and ended his career as a pen rider working for Hadley Feeders. He found joy in working with livestock and being close to nature. Jason had a quiet demeanor but loved to share a laugh and joke with family and friends. He was happiest outdoors, whether riding horses, fishing, hunting or simply spending time with those he loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Blackstock, and his grandparents, Gorman and Jewell Walker, as well as his aunts, Janet Graves and Cathy McGinley. Jason is survived by his mother, Matha Walker; his brother, Tony Blackstock; his daughter, Chyla Marriott; his uncle, Jimmie Walker; his aunt, Linda Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. The celebration of Jason’s life will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Bronte Methodist Church in Bronte, Texas.
