Doña Maria Elena Moreno, 80, of San Angelo passed away, Sunday November 21, 2021 in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Mr. Tomas Davila, minister at Lillie Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.


Mrs. Moreno was born August 15, 1941 in Jimenez, Mexico. She married Cruz Moreno and he passed away in 1972. Elena moved to San Angelo in 1979. She worked at Marquez Baker, her aunt's bakery, Villareal Bakery, and for 10 years at Mrs. Rios Corn Products. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending the weekends with her favorite grandson, Junior. 


She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Alex Moreno and Ernesto Hernandez.


Survivors include three daughters, Norma Davila and husband Toma, Rosalinda Hernandez, and Marisela Calderon and husband Ruben, all of San Angelo; two sons, Oscar Moreno and wife Sylvia of Andrews and Abel Moreno and wife Guadalupe of San Angelo; a sister, Mercedes Franco; 2 brothers, Juan Santellano and Eloy Santellano; 14 grandchildren, Ruben Jr., Melissa Marie, Roel, Miguel, Mayra, Omar, Albert, Gary, Alfredo, Oscar, Sergio, Amy, Abel, and Eric; and 21 great-grandchildren.
