Alexis “Nikki” Lewis, 27 of San Angelo passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 in Tom Green County.

Alexis was born in San Angelo to Angela Lewis and Michael Thomas on June 14, 1995. She graduated from Grape Creek High School in 2013. She worked for The Lighthouse for the Blind for several years and made many friends. She spoke often of you.

Alexis was preceded in death by her favorite Great Uncle Clifton Grimes.

Alexis is survived by three brothers: Steven Thomas and wife Shannon, of Wilmeth, Texas; Austin Thomas of Las Vegas, Nevada; Thomas Craddick of San Angelo and two sisters: Cynthia Craddick of San Angelo; and Madison Thomas of Denver, Colorado. Her parents: Angela Thomas of San Angelo and Michael Thomas of Springfield, Missouri; Step Dad Mark Craddick of San Angelo. Grandparents: James and Mary Lewis of San Angelo and Martha and Harry O’Donnell of Springfield, Missouri; Uncles: Troy Lewis and wife Cindy of Clermont, Florida; Mark Lewis and wife Cindy Lou, of Altamont, Tennessee; John Lewis and wife Brenda of San Angelo; Aunt: Joy Lewis Haynes, of Florida; nephew Levi Thomas and niece Teagan Thomas and many cousins and friends.

Alexis loved everyone. She loved working at the Lighthouse and especially all her friends there. She missed them so much when she was no longer able to work. She loved all her doctors and looked forward to her appointments so she could visit and bring them up to date on her life.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 2815 Old Christoval Road, San Angelo, Texas. A Graveside service will be held around 12 noon for those wishing to attend at Wilmeth Cemetery, FM 383 Wilmeth, Texas.

Lisa Gay Mathis-Bunyard promoted to heaven on September 8, 2022. She was born November 25, 1963, to Jerry B. and Peggy McRorey Bunyard (deceased).

Lisa is survived by her son and family: Peyton, Paige and granddaughter Presley Hinds; her brother and family: Gary, Zachary (Courtnee) & Harrison Bunyard; nieces: Bailey (Ryan) Hammans, and Sawyer (Nathan) Lewis with Beckett Brandon Lewis joining the family on September 8, 2022.

Lisa was preceded in death by Lance Mathis (husband); Mark Bunyard (brother); and her grandparents: Evelyn McRorey and J.G. & Mattie Bunyard.

Lisa graduated from San Angelo Central High School and Angelo State University (ASU) School of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. She held positions at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo and Breckenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Lisa loved people and was a sweet, kind, and loving person. She was baptized in Christ at the First Baptist Church of San Angelo on September 2, 1973. Lisa held on to her faith and is now free from the worldly woes to have happy visits with her Savior, her mom Peggy, her brother Mark, her husband Lance, and her grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at Harper Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, Lisa’s family requests memorials be made to Meals for the Elderly or West Texas Boys Ranch.

Otto Doyle Hohmann of San Angelo, formerly of Llano, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the age of 67 years.

Doyle retired from the City of San Angelo Water Department. After retirement, he spent time between his home in San Angelo and his cattle ranch in Llano County near Enchanted Rock. Doyle was an avid rancher.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Winona Evans Hohmann, nephew, Kyle Hohmann and niece, Debbie Peters Grigsby.

Doyle is survived by his wife Laura of San Angelo; four sisters, Althea Shaw and Sylvia Peters of Llano, Nancy Blackwell of Colorado, and Lesa Shepherd of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Donovan and John Hohmann both of Llano; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ollie "Bea" Ford, 71, of San Angelo was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with visitation from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Willie McClendon, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ford was born on February 3, 1951 in San Angelo to Oliver and Doretha Owens. She spent her entire life in San Angelo. Bea married Alamo Ford on December 7, 1999 in San Angelo. She was a CNA at Baptist Memorial for many years before becoming an in-home caregiver. She enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart, listening to spiritual music, playing cards and spending time with friends and family. Bea was a member at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church and an usher.

She was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Owens.

Bea is survived by her husband, Alamo of the home; three children, Deandrae Satcher of Las Cruces, New Mexico and his son, Andrae Satcher, Tanya Jackson of San Antonio and her daughter Crysta Jackson, and Ricky Ford of Dallas and his six children; five siblings, Margaret Hall of San Angelo, Sherry Takeall of San Angelo, Gloria Dunbar of Memphis, Tennessee, Oliver Owens, Jr. of Houston, and Genester Owens of San Angelo.

Brandon Brinkman, 21, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, in Stephenville, Texas.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Glen Meadows Baptist Church with Rev. Mack Roller, senior pastor, officiating. Entombment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Brandon was born November 16, 2000 to John and Sarah Brinkman in San Angelo where he was raised. Brandon became a resident of Blackwell the start of his 8th grade year where he attended Blackwell school. Brandon was part of several special football teams with the Hornets. He achieved so much including the newcomer of the year award and numerous district and regional awards. He holds the school record in the 300-meter hurdles and made it to the state meet his sophomore year. Brandon attended Ranger College in Brownwood and is currently enrolled in Tarleton State University in Stephenville. Brandon loved adventure, being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved watching football with friends and enjoyed going on family trips. He would get excited by the smallest things as long as he was with the people he loved. His smile, laugh, joking, and spirit brought life to any room he was in. Brandon attended Glen Meadows Baptist Church. He always had a smile and brought so much joy to his friends and family. That smile will be missed but never forgotten.

Survivors include his parents, John and Sarah Brinkman of the home; a brother, Sam Brinkman of Blackwell; paternal grandfather, Samuel Brinkman of Nevada, Texas; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Janis Davis of San Angelo; and his paternal great grandfather, Herschel Greenwell of Texarkana, Arkansas.

Armando R. Aguilar, Sr. 86, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Big lake surrounded by his loving family.

Public viewing will from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel in San Angelo. Public viewing will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM and Mass will be at 2:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2022, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Big Lake with Father Balachandra Nagipogu, officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo.

Mr. Aguilar was born October 24, 1935 in Las Cristates, Mexico to Ricardo and Dominga Aguilar. Armando married Maria Buitron on November 16, 1961 in San Jose, Mexico. She preceded him in death on April 30, 2006. He has been a resident of Big Lake for 60 years. Armando was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Big Lake. He was a roustabout if D.D. Poynor for 40 years retiring in 2014. Armando was known for helping friends and family.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Vargas and husband Mike of Big Lake, and Bobbie Lou Oenning of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two sons, Armando Aguilar, Jr. and wife Sylvia of New Braunfels, and Jerry Aguilar and wife Guadalupe of Big Lake; three brothers, Raymundo Aguilar and wife Maria, Ramiro Aguilar and wife Eugenia all of Big Lake, and Arnulfo Aguilar of San Angelo; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Armando was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
