Carmen Samaniego

Carmen Suanne Samaniego passed away June 9, 2015. She was born to Barbara and the late Pete Samaniego on November 22, 1983 in San Angelo. She grew up in Water Valley. She will be sadly missed by her loving dog companion Cookie.
There will be a memorial service for Carmen Monday, June 15, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sterling County Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that funds be sent to Sterling County Nursing Home to assist in purchasing marker.

Leroy F Hillegas

LeRoy F. Hillegas, Jr. 84, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in San Angelo. He was born on Friday, December 15, 1930 in South Ilion, New York to the late, LeRoy F., Sr. and Louise Hillegas. He worked as a welder for many years in the oil well industry and then later with the West Texas Fire Company. LeRoy was preceded in death by his first wife, Nora Hillegas and later married Jacqueline Rutledge on July 24, 2000 in San Angelo. He was of the Greek Orthodox faith.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife of almost 15 years, Jacqueline Hillegas; 5 step children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo.

Funeral Services for Michael David Tiftickjian "Tuffchicken", 57, will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at St. Marys Catholic Church. Rosary will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in San Angelo.
Mr. Tiftickjian passed away Thursday , June 11, 2015 in San Angelo. He was born to John and Elizabeth Tiftickjian on August 14, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Tiftickjian; children, Alex Cody Tiftickjian and wife Heather, Christopher Noel Tiftickjian and Andrew Michael Tiftickjian; step children, Yvonne Gaitan and Erik Gaitan; grandchildren, Taryn Tiftickjian and Jonathan Gaitan; Brothers, John Tiftickjian Jr and William "Bill" Tiftickjian; Mother in law, Angela Delgado; Sister in laws, Maria Cruz and Frances Coffee and husband Neil; Brother in law, Margarito Luna Jr. and as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Richard Wayne Crabb

Richard Wayne Crabb, 66, of San Angelo, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his home. He was born to the late, Billy Wayne and Marian Earnst Crabb on Sunday, October 24, 1948 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He was raised by his grandmother, Jessie Pearl Watkins Crabb, who influenced his life in ways that made him who he was to so many; nostalgic, considerate, and above all else, a gentleman. He married Brenda DeWoody on June 4, 1976 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Richard served in the United States Army Reserves for six years. He worked as a diesel mechanic in the oil field and later, a realtor for a number of years. Richard was a member of Glenn Meadows Baptist Church. He was known as "Papa Crabb", the flea market enthusiast and collector of collections. He was an automobile lover, especially of Jeeps. Richard was a gifted salesman, who never met a stranger. He could often be found at a local coffee shop visiting with both new and old friends alike. Richard's love of life and storytelling will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 11, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 12, 2015 in the Johnson's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Myron Halford officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Crestview Memorial Park of Wichita Falls.Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Brenda Crabb; three children, Jennifer Horn and husband, Max of Waynoka, Oklahoma, Jimmy Crabb and wife, Tammy of Ballinger, Texas, and Shiloh Mann and husband, Steve of Bulverde, Texas; one sister, Patty Smith of Woodhaven, New York; one brother, Billy Crabb of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Frank Carlson Hutchens

Frank Carlson Hutchens. 63, of Water Valley, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
Frank was born January 30, 1952 in Lincoln, Arkansas to the late Gerald D. and Dora Sybil Loftin Hutchens. In his early years, he grew up in Benbrook, Texas and then moved to Brady , Texas and his grandfather's ranch with his family at the age of 10. He attended school at Rochelle and graduated from Brooksmith High School. He lived in the Brownwood area for many years and has lived near the Water Valley community for most of the last 15 years.
Frank had many careers throughout his life, including being a welder, truck driver – hauling grain, construction work, working in the oil fields and being a ranch hand.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Sybil Mitchell and grandson, Cody Mitchell, both of Oklahoma City; brothers, Gary Hutchens of Early and Roger Hutchens and his wife Brenda of Brownwood; sister, Sue Johnston of Water Valley; nieces and nephews, Jeff Roberts, Tammy Stanke, Carey Riley, Scott Riley, Chris Riley, Rick Raffel, Kendal Johnston, Keri Dwyer, Theron Hutchens and Kendra Riley.
Friends may call at Johnson's Funeral Home for viewing Wednesday and Thursday. Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 12, 2015, at the Water Valley Community Center (formerly the Methodist Church), 15782 Cooper Avenue with Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Early, Texas.
