Boil Water Notice Still in effect.

Still hungry for their first win of the season after a heartbreaking loss in the final seconds to A&M Consolidated last week, the San Angelo Central Bobcats began conference play tonight, Oct. 16. With the Little Southwest Conference back together again, the ‘Cats dominated the Abilene High Eagles in every facet of the game. Behind five touchdown passses from quarterback Malichi Brown, the Bobcats hung 53 points on the Eagles and won their district opener, 53-32.

Hours after the city confirmed four separate water main breaks, a major boil notice has been issued for most of the city.

San Angelo, TX – Due to multiple breaks of water mains in various areas of San Angelo that resulted in a reduction in water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of San Angelo public water
system to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc).

City Water Crews are busy with multiple main breaks. Meanwhile, a notice recommending that water customers boil their water before consuming it blankets the city. Map included here.
