SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Fire Department is combating a house fire in the 2000 block of Field St. just off N. Howard St. Initial reports are that multiple engines were dispatched and over the radio, we heard firefighters looking for more water sources.

The museum said that the board fired Alex Freeman. He was hired and joined SAMFA as Director in September 2022 and then served as President/CEO beginning January 1, 2023.

A man walked into the Christians in Action thrift store at 1505 S. Chadbourne St., found some suitcases and some other items he wanted to have, and pulled a knife demanding the store clerk give him those items, police said.
