San Angelo's Salvation Army Launches Annual Angel Tree Drive

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Salvation Army of San Angelo is thrilled to launch its beloved Angel Tree initiative once again this year. This heartwarming program aims to bring Christmas cheer to children from families facing financial challenges by providing them with toys and clothes. Through the kind-heartedness of our community, we anticipate bringing smiles to over 380 children as they unwrap their Christmas gifts.

Major Adriana Martinez of The Salvation Army of San Angelo explains, “Our Angel Tree drive is all about extending a helping hand to families in need during the festive season. It’s a community effort where individuals and businesses adopt 'angels' to ensure these families can enjoy the spirit of giving and receiving.”

Discover our Angel Trees at local Super Walmarts, Sam’s Club, and Sunset Mall throughout this holiday season. Community members and businesses are encouraged to adopt 'angels', symbolized by paper tags on the trees, representing children and senior citizens at risk of missing out on Christmas presents. Angels are available for adoption now, and gifts will be distributed to families on December 22.

For those who prefer to participate remotely, Walmart’s "Registry for Good" offers a digital way to contribute. Visit www.salvationarmysanangelo.org and click on “Purchase a Gift for a Precious Angel” to send a thoughtful gift to a local family. These gifts will be delivered to The Salvation Army by Walmart.
