Carolyn Ann Prosise

07/09/2025 - 08:44 , by TKing09

Carolyn Ann Prosise peacefully passed away in the early morning of July 1st, 2025, in her home located in Eden, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

Carolyn was born August 13th, 1953, in Sonora, Texas. Her parents Raymond Gerald and Mary Ann Prosise then relocated the family to Eden, Texas where Carolyn and her 4 siblings grew up. Carolyn attended Eden High School where she was a cheerleader and was voted most popular. In her 20’s her world and heart became fuller when she embraced becoming a mother to Chandra Michele and Donald Lee Rabenaldt. Carolyn then found her calling to serve her community in being a dispatcher in Concho County where her compassion for others led her to receive the “Silent Hero Award”. Carolyn had many roles in life, but her favorite was being a grandmother which led her to move to Mertzon, Texas so she could be closer to her two granddaughters Carlee and Abigail. One of her favorite things to do during her time off was travel and see her grandson Elam in San Antonio. Carolyn’s deep love for children also inspired her to open her own in-home daycare where she treated other’s children like her own. She also served the Irion County Community by dispatching before moving back to Eden to take care of her father while also returning as a dispatcher for Concho County, until she retired in 2018 after 21 years of service. Carolyn’s most known attributes of compassion, love, understanding and patience were reflected in her many roles in life.

Carolyn enjoyed many things in life including cooking for her family, Sister Sundays with Brenda, traveling with her children and grandchildren, and most of all spending time with her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Alma Lumbley, parents Gerald and Mary Prosise and her brother Eddie Prosise. She is survived by her daughter Michele, son Donnie (Tiffany). Grandchildren Carlee, Abigail (Trevin), and Elam. Brothers Ron (Carmen) and Jerry (Vickey) and sisters Brenda (Carlton) and Jan (Larry). Niece Misty (Jeremiah) and her children Logan, Kolton, Hunter, and Kaitlyn. She was also loved dearly by her sister-in-law Candy, her cousin Carolyn Gail (Sylvester) and nephew Ron Young.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held on July 12th, at 10 A.M at Eden Funeral Home in Eden, Texas.

Gary Wayne Hudson

07/07/2025 - 08:50 , by TKing09

Gary Wayne Hudson left this life on July 1st at the young, but OLD age of 46. I can say that because although I only had 2 years on him, he never let me forget how ancient I was. Before we get to the meat and potatoes of this obituary, let’s get some housekeeping out of the way. Gary was born on Feb 20th, 1979, to Joseph Clay Hudson (deceased) and Carolyn Young. He was blessed to have an extended family, to include his dad, Lenny Young (deceased), Step-Mom Kavina Hudson and siblings: Christopher Hudson, Kristina Gaitan, Danielle Damian, Clinton Hudson, Rebecca Antunez and Joseph Hudson Jr. When you add in the parents he inherited via marriage: Todd Bryan and Trudy Bryan (deceased), Charli Hajek and Heidi’s crazy crew of siblings: Jamie Bryan, Shelly Ross, Kristy Meehan, William Bryan and Lexi Eldred, let’s just suffice it to say, he had a motley crew family and we ALL loved Gary, but none more so than the love of his life, Heidi.

The meat of Gary’s life – his family. Heidi and Gary met as Sophomores in high school, were married on July 11th, 1998, and have been together ever since. They opened their home and their hearts to many foster children and adopted two of them: Sierra Marie Hudson and Zachary James Hudson. Gary loved these children and cherished his role as a dad, very rarely one to say no, these kids meant the world to him. Over the course of their marriage, Heidi and Gary overcame many trials always coming out together and stronger in their love for each other. Their marriage was one of those that was often coveted, not because it was perfect, but because they continued to work at it and genuinely loved each other day in and day out.

The potatoes and all those delicious sides that Gary or Gare-Bear as he was affectionally known to some, loved to top his plate with. Gary lived a full life. He was a gifted mechanic, held several different roles in the oil field, a plumber, a welder, a hunter, a fisherman, a woodworker, an avid motorcyclist with a couple of trips to Sturgis under his belt, a rancher, a livestock owner, and an all-around good guy. Gary was gifted at barbecuing and smoking meats, if you never had any of his brisket, sausage, or chicken, well – you missed out. What stands out most about Gary was that he was the one you called when you needed anything, no matter what it was, no matter what time of day or night, no matter where you were or where he was. He was dependable in a world that doesn’t know the definition of that word anymore.

Gary’s passing has left a hole in the hearts of the many, many lives he touched. The fond memories we all have reiterate the fact that he was one of those rare, good souls. To know him, was to have a genuine friend and the world is a bit darker without his light shining in it. Gary, I hope you are surrounded by those we lost before you, and that you are smoking some of your delicious brisket, kicking back with a beer, probably blushing at all the emotions coming from your friends and family. One final lesson Gary taught us, don’t forget to taste the lemon cake before you crumble it over your chili. But even after you do, enjoy it to the last bite.

Jenny Aline Kelley

07/07/2025 - 08:44 , by TKing09

Jenny Aline Kelley, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born November 9, 1952, in Houston, Texas, to Richard and Floretta Stowe, Jenny brought joy and music into the world from the very beginning. A beautiful and spirited little girl, she looked up to her big sister Marsha with admiration and shared a special bond with her baby brother David, whom she adored.

From a young age, Jenny’s love for music was evident—always singing, always harmonizing. She graduated from Pearland High School in 1971. That same year, she married the love of her life, Pat ‘PK’ Kelley, on June 5th. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose.

Jenny and PK began their journey in Corpus Christi, where they welcomed their first son, Christian Matthew, in January 1972. Four years later, in May 1976, they completed their family with the birth of their second son, Michael Edward.

In 1982, the family moved to Austin, and later, in 1991, to San Angelo as PK took on the exciting task of opening the city’s first H.E.B. Inspired to follow a long-held dream, Jenny pursued her nursing degree and earned it from Angelo State University in May 1994 through hard work, resilience, and heart. She often said becoming a nurse was one of the most meaningful accomplishments of her life—and she had the stories (and gory details) to prove it.

Jenny found her professional home in the recovery room at San Angelo Community Hospital, where she made a lasting impact not only on her patients but on her colleagues as well. Her deep compassion and nurturing spirit made her beloved by many, especially her dear friend Sharleta, whose friendship endured well beyond Jenny’s retirement in 2014. Jenny, now reunited with her beloved BFF Sue Gomez (lost too soon to the tragic 2020 pandemic), leaves behind a legacy of love, echoing the laughter they shared and the unbreakable bond they forged.

To know Jenny was to know a nurturer, a fierce advocate, and someone who lived with heart. Her love for her family was boundless, her loyalty unwavering, and her spirit unforgettable. Jenny's final chapter was harmonized by the love and fellowship of her Church of the Vine choir, especially Vicki, Phyllis, and her Kimmie Sue, Jenny’s voice now joining a celestial chorus.

Jenny is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Floretta, sister Marsha and brother David. She is survived by her husband Pat; sons Christian and his wife Kim, and Michael; grandchildren Pharrah, Elias, Solomon and Birdie; and a host of extended family and friends whose lives she touched deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Glen Meadows at 10:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2025.

Her voice may no longer fill the room, but her melody lingers in the hearts of all who loved her.

Kenneth Stasey

07/07/2025 - 08:39 , by TKing09

Kenneth Randell Stasey “Wizard” passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior June 28, 2025, with family and friends by his side. Born on October 12, 1953, in Big Spring, TX to Wendell and Beth Stasey.

Randy began his career as a certified ophthalmic dispenser in 1975 at Pearl Vision in the Dallas Fort Worth area and received his certificate in 1979. After several years of working there, he then moved to San Angelo. He took over the family optical shop Eyes of Texas from his brother Mickey Stasey. Also, at that time Wendell and Beth had Stasey Real Estate, life was getting exciting.

Beyond his professional life, Randy loved fast boats, fast cars, the lake, football, and action-packed movies, and his brother Mickey was right there beside him with what they said, “Tearing it up”. They have so many stories together and most of his friends would say they had 9 lives. They both had jet boats and loved racing with each other. Randy made the cover of San Angelo magazine touching the water while skiing on Lake Nasworthy.

Randy shared two children with his former wife Tina Stasey and he loved them with all he had. Dillon was the first born and was always easy and laid back. Then came Kendell, the spitfire dare devil. So, Dillon always said you do it first and if it works out then ill do it. Almost the same as Randy and Mickey.

Randy is preceded in death by parents, Wendell and Beth Stasey and his grandparents Pat and Bea Stasey, his brother, Mickey Stasey only four weeks ago on May 31, 2025. He is survived by his sons Dillon Stasey and Kendell Stasey.

Randy will be remembered for his story telling, his sense of humor, genuine kindness, his strong work ethic and his unwavering love for those around him. He will be greatly missed but also remembered by all the lives he touched.

Service and Celebration of Life are to be announced at a later date with Harper Funeral Home.

Don’t think of me as gone away

My journey’s just begun

Life holds so many facets

This earth is but one

Just think of me as resting

From the sorrows and the tears

In a place of warmth and comfort

Where there are no days and years

Think of how I must be wishing

That you could know today

How nothing but your sadness

Can really go away

And think of me as living

In the hearts of those I touched

For nothing loved is ever lost

And I know I was loved so much

Emmitt Howard Bartee

07/07/2025 - 08:36 , by TKing09

Emmitt Howard Bartee passed away peacefully on June 20th, 2025 with several of the people that loved him most at his side.

He was born September 11th, 1942 in Olney, Tx. After a stint in the US Navy, he returned to West Texas and married Glenda Dean Love. Together they raised a son, Emmitt II and a daughter Anissa.

He enjoyed a long career as an oilfield electrician, with an outstanding reputation, trusted and respected by his peers throughout the region.

Many hearts are heavy with his loss, because Emmitt was a truly special man. He embodied the best of what West Texans are: true to his word, tough, hard working, sharp, humble and big hearted. He was always ready with a smile, eager to help, and when he told you “Take your time going, but hurry back!”, he meant it.

He could glean more joy from a dog, a bag of Oreos and an old movie (Western or Sci-Fi!) than most people could buy with a fortune.

He loved music…any type. He was always good to go for concerts…from country swing to heavy metal and everything in between. If it had a beat, he would tap his foot and nod his head….even if he was deep asleep.

Emmitt was proceeded in death by his wife Glenda, his mother- Margaret and step-father Hubert Haston, his brother Virgil Haston and two sisters.

He is survived by his son Emmitt Bartee II, and grandson Emmitt “Trey” Bartee III. His daughter Anissa McLaughlin, her husband Stephen and grandkids Elijah Conner, Addison, and Jack McLaughlin. His much beloved niece, Teanna Love (always one of his favorites!), his brothers Herky and Haskell Haston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

And his good pal, Otto.

Anissa would tell you she had the greatest Daddy, Emmitt would tell you he had the greatest daughter. Their bond was inspirational. No doubt her love and care added years to his life, and she made sure they were filled with joy and laughter.

Celebration of life will be held on July 12th , 11:00 am at Harper Funeral home in San Angelo, Tx. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hands of Mercy Cat Sanctuary in San Angelo.

“Cares of the past are behind

Nowhere to go, but I'll find

Just where the trail will wind

Drifting along with the tumblin' tumbleweeds

I'll keep rolling along

Deep in my heart is a song

Here on the range I belong

Drifting along with the tumblin' tumbleweeds”

-Tumbling Tumbleweeds, 1934, Bob Dolan

Ariahella Kamille Gloria

07/03/2025 - 10:02 , by TKing09

With sorrow and pain we announce the passing of our daughter Ariahella Kamille Gloria, the lord gave us 5 beautiful years with her before she gained her wings.

Ari girl “The Bull” was such a gentle giant with a big personality, Ari loved mermaids and being at the ocean, a true mermaid at heart.

Even in all the smallest of things she would find joy.

She had an obsession with balloons and bubbles, playing dress up wearing her plastic princess heels, playing with her cousins, roaming around outside eating dirt, roaring like a dinosaur, and spending time with her dog Jax. If Ari was not inside watching Bluey episodes or watching every princess movie she loved being adventurous and to go exploring every chance she could.

Her constant laughter and smile that would fill the room will definitely be missed but not forgotten as we will always continue to keep her memories alive. We never want this disease to define who Ari is, she was a strong, brave, courageous little girl who fought her battle until her last breath.

Ari is met in heaven by her beautiful sister Khloe Gloria; Uncles, Mario Jr. Salazar, Amador Salazar; Cousin, Israel Galindo; Grandma, Melody Gloria and Great Grandpa, Amador Salazar.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Natalie Salazar and Hector Gloria; grandparents, Carol Salazar and Mario Salazar; great grandparents, Gus and Kay Constancio, Ubaldina Salazar, and Cruz de la Garza; aunts and uncles, Justin-Salazar, Isabella Salazar, Jorge and Veronica Reyes and family, and

Cassandra De La Garza and family, and many cousins, great aunts and uncles.

Hector and Natalie would like to take this moment and say thank you to hospice of San Angelo, her neurologist and medical team, her social worker Patrica and Candy, her hospice nurse.

We would also like to thank the community who have been following our story with both of our girls, we truly do appreciate all the support with much love and sadness.

The Gloria Family.

Here lies a spirit, light and free, a mermaid girl of the deep blue sea.

Five years she danced, a joyful dream, besides coral castles, a vibrant gleam.

With fins of stardust, and eyes so bright, she chased the sun through ocean light.

A tiny siren, with songs untold, in waves of wonder, her story unfolds.

Though tides may turn, and oceans weep, her memory sleeps in the ocean deep.

A mermaid's daughter, forevermore, she swims in heavens, to distant shores.

A visitation for Ariahella will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX 76903.
