Lorrie Ann (Brown) Walker

Lorrie Ann Bates Walker, 61, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, in San Angelo.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Randy Bush, pastor of Harris Ave. Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the directions of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Walker was born June 7, 1960 in Pecos. Lorrie married Gary Walker on July 17, 1985 in Odessa. She received her Bachelors of Arts from Sul Ross State University in 1988. Lorrie was a 1st grade teacher at Austin Elementary and later taught at Crockett Jr. High School in Pecos retiring in 2006. She has been a resident of San Angelo since 2006, moving from Pecos. Lorrie loved sewing, knitting, cooking, gardening, and her favorite love of all was fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Gary of the home; a daughter, Amy Michelle Spring and husband Adrian of Grafenwohr, Germany; a brother, Tim Bates and wife Barbara of Afton, Tennessee. Lorrie was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Wanda Bates; and a brother, Nolan Bates.
