Cecilia Salazar San Agustin, 60, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, in San Angelo.

Public view will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Robert Massie Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gonzales, pastor of The House Of Jireh, officiating. Burial will follow at Belevedere Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. San Agustin was born October 13, 1960 to Federico and Emma Salazar in Piedras Negras, Mexico. She has been a resident of San Angelo for 35 years. Cecilia married Daniel San Agustin in 1985 in San Angelo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kickapoo Nation. Cecilia loved music and being with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel; six sons, Ruben San Agustin, Daniel San Agustin, Rolando San Agustin and wife Crystal, Alex San Agustin and wife Krystal, Alberto San Agustin, and Eddie San Agustin and wife Erica all of San Angelo; three daughters, Ema Salazar, Alejandra San Agustin both of San Angelo, and Claudia Salazar of Simpsonville, South Carolina; 30 grandchildren, a great granddaughter; three brothers, Antonio Salazar, Juan Salazar both of Eagle Pass, and Jesus Salazar of Mexico; three sisters, Juanita Salazar of Del Rio, Rosa Salazar and Jesusita Salazar both of Eagle Pass. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and a sister.

Cruz Martinez Castillo, born May 3, 1923, passed away on July 28, 2021. Cruz had been a resident at Baptist Retirement Center where she had a close circle of friends. She was known for her positive outlook on life and her love of music, in particular mariachi music. Her legacy to her son was her credo that charity to those less fortunate is a universal obligation.

She was raised on the Tweedy Ranch near San Angelo, Texas where her father Bernabe Martinez had been the ranch foreman for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy C. Castillo who died on March 26, 2013, and by her brothers: Eli, Barney and Paul Martinez. She was interred in Knickerbocker, Texas in the family plot.

Cruz and Roy were married on October 28, 1942 in Knickerbocker, Texas with wedding festivities held at the Tweedy Ranch. During Roy's U.S. Army service in World War II, Cruz assisted her father-in-law, Amado Castillo, with his grocery store operations. Later, Roy and Cruz purchased L.W. Puckitt's water drilling and irrigation company and renamed it, Pump Service and Supply Company.

As the principals of Pump Service and Supply, they successfully operated the business until it was sold in 2010. Throughout West Texas, Roy was recognized as the "pump" expert to go to for quality and dependable water delivery service for farmers, ranchers and major oil companies in West Texas, Northern Mexico and New Mexico. Cruz served as the office manager of the business.

Cruz is survived by numerous nephews and nieces as well as one son, A. (Amado) Mario Castillo and his spouse, David N. Hutchison. Fondly regarded by Mario for the loving care provided to his mother are Maxine Hobbs, the BRC staff and Cruz's niece, Kathy Hernandez of Houston, Texas who was unwavering in her love and care for Cruz.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts' "mariachi program" or the West Texas Boys Ranch. Pallbearers were A. Mario Castillo, David N. Hutchison, Rene Alvarado, Rosendo Ramos, Mike Mitchell, Jr., and Chase Holland.

Randy Chance, 61, passed away July 29, 2021, in San Angelo, TX. Randy was born on February 28, 1960, in San Angelo, TX and was raised in Ogden, UT where he attended Weber State College. He was a minister for 40+ years and loved to help young people in their journey in life. 

Randy is survived by his sister, Della Ward, nieces and nephews, Shermell Ward, Jamie Ward, Xavier Williams, Marissa Wolfe, Ayshe Chance, Chris Chance, Rashad Chance, Ja’Quan White and numerous cousins and other relatives. 

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Evelyn Chance, and siblings, Larry Darnell, Carolyn Chance, and Russell Chance.

Deborah Ann Englert Coleman, 66, a lifelong resident of San Angelo, Texas passed away on July 29, 2021. Debbie was born November 1954, the second of three daughters to Ervin and Gladys Englert. She attended Holy Angels Elementary, Lee Junior High and graduated from Central High School in 1973. Debbie earned an associate degree in accounting from Abilene Business School and went on to work for GTE/Verizon for 36 ½ years. She was a member of the GTE bowling league for several years. 

Debbie married the love of her life, Ray Coleman, on September 28, 1974. Her pride and joy were her daughter Jennifer and her three grandsons. She was a devoted lifelong member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in San Angelo. Debbie was an avid collector, particularly of dolls. One of her favorite joys in life was going to antique sales and estate sales with her husband and parents. Debbie also loved crafting—she was always working on various projects to give her family. She made homemade coin banks, quilts, photo albums, bird houses and many things that we will always treasure. She never missed sending heartfelt birthday cards to family, which many times included a party and cake! She always loved getting together for a good game of 42, and in fact, she had a large collection of fun and unique dominoes.  

Debbie was one of the most loving, generous, and caring people you would ever meet. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

She is survived by her husband Ray; daughter Jennifer Ann Coleman Emdy and husband Joshua of Carrollton, TX; grandsons Kelvin, Jeremy and Trevor Emdy; father Ervin Englert of San Angelo; sister Beverly Englert Currington and husband David of Canyon Lake, California; sister Denise Englert Maxwell and husband Fred of Carrollton, TX; In-laws Judy and Bob Coffman, Tommy and Terry Ellis and Bobby and Vicki Coleman of Abilene; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 2, 2021 at 1:00pm at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Daryl Gail Hartman, beloved daughter, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend went to her eternal home on Sunday July 25, 2021. Join us in celebrating her life at 10:00 am, Monday August 2, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her father Hugh E. Hartman Jr., Paternal Great Grandmother Helen I. Boyle; Grandparents Hugh E. Hartman Sr. and Pearl Marshall Hartman; and Maternal Grandmother Mable Wilhour Bulko. She is survived by a son Michael Kristoffer Haskins, two grandsons Gabe and Luke; her daughter Shelby Lauren Watson and husband Jason, two grandsons Owen and Ethan of San Angelo; her mother Renee Wilhour Hartman of MD; her sister Dr. Cheryl Smith and husband Todd Steinhauer and Cheryl's children, Anthony Smith, Krystal Smith, of Belton, TX, and Dr. Michelle Sims of Alberta, Canada; her sister Nikki and husband Michael Lambert, their children Cameron of San Angelo TX, Carissa and husband Justin Marlowe of NC; her brother Hugh E. Hartman III, his son Austin Hartman, and her brother Robert Hartman of MD. 

Daryl was born in Romulus, NY on December 23, 1953. Her father's military service stationed the family in various places including Frankfurt, Germany where she graduated from Frankfurt High School. Daryl landed in San Angelo when her father retired from the USAF. Her first job was at K-Mart working in the camera department. There she developed a love of photography resulting in her becoming our family photographer. She took many great pictures that will provide a lifetime of memories. Daryl then became employed at Johnson and Johnson's Ethicon working there for 33 years until she happily retired. 

Daryl was known for her thoughtfulness, selflessness, kindness, meekness and for being very humble. She was a peacemaker, encouraging and loving. She loved her whole family with all of her heart. Daryl enjoyed spending time and playing with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She loved family events and traveling, usually to visit family. She was innately helpful and sacrificially put others needs before her own. Daryl routinely watched various Christian broadcasts and videos. She attended Paul Ann Church or watched online services. As Daryl's faith grew it became her joy to share God's word with her family. 

Daryl is now free of the stress, strife, and trials of her earthly journey. She is now enjoying complete peace and agape love we can only imagine. She was deeply loved by all her family. Although she will be missed tremendously; there is endless comfort for her family in knowing she was saved. We have faith one day we will see her again. Daryl loved Jesus and He shined through her to all who knew her. Daryl regularly supported Feed the Children and Meals for the Elderly. In her memory, please consider a donation to one of these worthy charities.

Our beautiful and wonderful mother, JoAnn Martin, 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 23, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home in Baltimore, MD. She was born to Ennis & Willie Polk on December 10, 1940, in Kingsville, Texas. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Louis Martin Sr., and one son Jeffery Jerome Martin. 

She is survived by four children: Michael Polk of San Angelo, Louis Martin Jr. of San Angelo, Gerald Martin (Beth), and Angela Martin-Anderson, Ten grandchildren, LaQuisha and Gerald Polk, JoAnn and Tre Martin, Meagan, Moriah, and Mikaela Martin, Ross Spear Martin, Jalen Anderson, and Jorden Anderson, Four sisters, Alvetta Dimrey, Cheryl Crider, Lynell Ellisa, and Patsy Brown. As well as many numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

She grew up in San Angelo, then got married to the love of her life. As a military wife, she did a lot of traveling and never met a stranger. Her life was dedicated to her husband, kids, and family. She had a big heart and a kind spirit. She was well loved by many. Her legacy will live on. 

She was a cook for 20 years at San Angelo Independent School District at Lincoln, Central, and Lamar. She belonged to several social clubs, Lions Club, Rosary Reading, and Arts, and La Coteria. She was an avid bowler and bowled on her teams for many years. She was a mother of the Church at New Birth Full Gospel Assembly. 

She will always be remembered as a sweet, happy lady who always had a smile and a kind word. She was loved and adored by many. She will be missed, as she takes her place as an ANGEL IN HEAVEN! 

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Harper Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11:00AM at St. Paul’s Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. 
Pallbearers for the service will be Ross Martin, Jalen Anderson, Jorden Anderson, Tony Owens, Clifford Wright, and Seth Lacy.

Wednesday morning July 28th 2021 Judy Killgore died after a year long battle with cancer. She fought till the end not wanting to leave family and friends behind. Being more concerned that they would be okay than how she was doing. 

Judy grew up both as a child of the military and oil field. Traveling the world until she reached San Angelo, Texas. There she finished high school and while doing so met the man she would spend the rest of her life with, Andy Killgore. So on the 15th of July 1978 they got married and started their path together. Then after 5 years of getting to know each other they decided to have children. That is how Ian in 1983 and Sean in 1986 came to be. 

In 1993 she decided to make a change in her career path and become a nurse and went to school. With the guidance of several people and one in particular, Marianne Simpson, she new that becoming an operating room circulating nurse was what she needed to be. 

She worked at Shannon Hospital for almost 10 years and then never having lost the urge to travel she became a travel nurse going all over the U.S. working at hospitals in Arizona, Missouri, Virginia, Maine, Colorado, California and Texas. 

After 6 years of traveling on her own, with frequent visits from Andy wherever she was, Andy joined her in her travels and they wandered the country seeing the Atlantic to the Pacific and then settling in the Rocky Mountains in Lakewood Colorado for the next almost 10 years. 

In 2020 they decided to move back to San Angelo and work a few more years then retire and take up traveling again seeing more of the country than before. Between them they only had a few more states to visit before they had either been to or lived in all 50. 

Then the bad news hit. Diagnosis of terminal cancer. 

Judy, as many can attest, was an amazing nurse. She most often took better care of her patients than she did herself. She was an advocate and took care of the patient as part of a team and also on her own making certain that the care she gave was centered on the patient, whether a child or an elderly person, that they were safe and comfortable. She was also there if the outcome was not good and helped them as best she could. 

Judy loved to have fun as well. When she was a travel nurse she always asked the local people or searched the internet to find out what was going on around her that looked fun or different. She would go these events, festivals and seek out the fun and go to concerts and dance like no-one was watching. 

Judy and Andy could spend day after day together and enjoy each others company with rarely have a cross word. They could have fun doing something, going somewhere or just sitting in silence reading. They always held hands when they walked anywhere. They even held hands in the car driving down the road. Often they were asked if they were just married or still dating. The answer was no that even after more than 40 years “We hold hands because we love each other and like the contact.” 

There were hard times that had to be gotten through and fun times that were enjoyed. Through it all there was LOVE and Judy’s smile. 

There are so many more hours of telling to this story... 

Judy will be missed not just by Andy, Ian and Sean but also by family the people she knew and worked with and also by the patients she will never meet.
