Michael Padron Jasso, 60, of San Angelo, went to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at his residence surrounded by family. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Emelio Sosa officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Michael was born July 3, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He retired from San Angelo Independent School District in May 2014, after 23 years of employment. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel P. and Jesusita C. Jasso. Survivors include his wife, Terri Jasso of San Angelo; his children, Michael J. Jasso III and wife Michel and David S. Jasso, also of San Angelo; five grandchildren, Ryan Jasso, David Z. Jasso, Jacob Jasso, Makayla Jasso and Jeremiah Jasso; seven sisters and one brother; Juanita Runion and husband Dan of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Dora Chappa, Letty Bishop and the late Roy Bishop, Jerry Jasso and wife Oralia, Sandy Carrasco and the late Danny Carrasco, Brenda Jasso, Mercy Jasso and Debbie Jasso, all of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Huchton and his staff and Hospice of San Angelo. God saw you getting tired and a cure could not be So he put His arms around you And whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched You suffer and we saw you fade away, Although we not ask you to stay A golden heart stopped beating, Hardworking hands laid to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Big Mike, Dad, Popo, Til we meet again, We love you more. Family and friends may sign the online register book at johnsons-funeralhome.com.
