Ramiro G. Perez, 60 of Sonora passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 in Eden. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sonora Cemetery. Survivors include parents Ricardo and Eva Perez of Sonora, wife Rosemary Perez of Sonora, daughters Quirina Morales of Eldorado and Leandra Perez of Midland, brother Richard Perez of Odessa and sister Lilia Gonzales of Pflugerville.

Eusebio “Roberto” Ortiz, 88, of Roswell, New Mexico passed away on May 4, 2014 in Fort Worth.


Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/Knickerbocker. Funeral Services will be on Friday at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/Knickerbocker at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/knickerbocker.


Survivors include his son Roberto Ortiz of Lubbock, TX, and Mike Ortiz of Garland, TX.; two daughters, Dora Gerhardt of White Settlement, TX and Isabel Hernandez of San Angelo. Other survivors include two brothers, Juan Ortiz and Gonzalo Ortiz both of Cd. Acuna, Coah. MX. and one sister, Olivia Ortiz also of Cd. Acuna, Coah MX.
