Allen Wells, 92, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away on November 6, 2014. Allen was a World War II veteran who served with the 226th Antiaircraft Artillery Searchlight Battalion, which fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Most of his life was spent in Rogers, TX, where he was very active in both the community and his church.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Wells Walker, and his brother, Julian A. Wells. He is survived by one sister, Alzada Wells Marsh, Half-sister Judy Wells Blevins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Marsh family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Hospice of San Angelo and to Mrs. LaNelle Sherrod for the love and support they gave to Allen during his time of need.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 8, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo. A graveside service to follow at noon Saturday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. X B Cox, Jr., 99, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

Funeral Service will be held at First United Methodist Church of San Angelo on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. Following the service family would like to invite friends of X B to come to the First United Methodist Church, Celebration Hall for a reception. And Burial to follow after the reception to Fairmount Cemetery.

He attended San Angelo schools and attended San Angelo Junior College, on a Massie scholarship, for one year. He entered Texas A&M in the Fall of 1933 and graduated in the Class of 1937. Upon his graduation he was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army. Upon his return, following the War, he was appointed to the Massie Foundation Board, on which he served for 32 years.
X B was honored as Outstanding Alumni of ASU in 1977 and in 2005 was named Golden Ex by the Alumni Foundation.

From June of 1937 until January of 1939, X B was employed as the Assistant County Agent, in charge of government farm programs in Coke and Dawson Counties. From January of 1939 until June of 1941 he was County Agricultural Agent in Scurry County.

X B was called to active duty in June of 1941, as a 1st Lt., and served until March 1946. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division in August of 1942; at the time it was established, and served in the 81st Abn AA Bn. On March 25, 1945 he was promoted to be Commanding Officier of the 81st Abn AA Bn. At 29 years of age. He participated in the Normandy landings on D-Day, rode a glider into Zon, Holland for Operation Market Garden, was surrounded at Bastogne, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge, and was involved in combat in Germany until the American troops occupied Berchestgaden, Hitler's Eagle's Nest. From there he was sent to France to prepare troops to go to Japan but because of the dropping of the atomic bomb, he returned to the United States, in November of 1945 with the rank of Lt. Col. He was removed from active duty back to the Reserves, and promoted to Colonel in 1956, retiring from the Army in 1967, after 30 years of active and Reserve service.

During his service to his country he was highly decorated, receiving the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, the EAME Campaign Medal with 4 Battle Stars and 1 Bronze Arrowhead, the Occupation Medal, American Defense Service Victory Medal, and The Order of Orange Nassau, Officer Grade with Swords, commissioned by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. He was awarded the French Croix de Guerre, the Belgian Croix de Guerre, the Netherlands Orange Lanyard and the Presidential Citation.

X. B. married Melba Ruth White in Bryan, Texas on November 4, 1948.

From 1946-1949 X B worked for the Wool Division, of USDA with offices in Denver, Boston, and in San Angelo.

He bought a ranch in Upton County in 1947 and ranching became his life after that time. He became a member of First United Methodist Church, in San Angelo, in 1927. X B has been active in many other affiliations, including being President of The Businessmen's Bible Class, President of the West Texas A & M Club, was President 1964-1966 of the San Angelo Stock Show Association, The Retired Officers' Assn., and a charter member of the Daniel Wood Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution, being awarded a 40 year service pin in 2008.

X B was active in the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association for over 35 years. He was awarded The Golden Spur Award for service and dedication on 2006.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one beloved grandson, X B Cox, IV (Boone), and his brother Donald D Cox. X B is survived by his wife, Melba W. Cox of San Angelo, his daughter Melba Ellen Cox Williams and her husband, Herbert E. Williams, Jr., of Kerrville, TX; his son, X B Cox, III, and his wife Kelly of Fairfax, Va.; his grandchildren, Herbert Eugene "Trey" Williams III and his wife Sandy of Wylie, TX, Sarah Elizabeth Junemann and her husband Cory of League City, TX, and Jordan Katherine Cox of Colorado Springs, CO; his great-grandsons Cameron and Mason Williams and Lex Junemann; and one nephew, Donald Boyd Cox, his wife Pat and grandniece Kim Denise Cox of San Angelo.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Mr. Cox's doctors and his precious caregivers, Stephanie Melendez, Sylvia Montalvo, Angelica Galvan, Shelly Luchuga, and Ashley Rocha. Their care and loving support provided him with a wonderful quality of life during the past few years.

Military Honors and Pallbearers will be presented by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.

William O. (Billy) Allison, Jr., 59,of San Angelo, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in a local hospital.
Friends may call at Johnson's Funeral Home on Thursday for open visitation. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2014 at Belvedere Cemetery.
Billy was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was born to William (Pete) and Marie Allison on January 20, 1955 in Memphis, Tennessee. He loved everyone! He loved to sing gospel songs, with his favorite being "How Great Thou Art". Billy will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Billy is survived by sisters, Debbie Elliott and her husband John, Jenny Abrams and her husband Jay; brother, James Allison and his wife Kay; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He's gone to be with his mom, dad and granny. We love you Billy.
The family would like to thank all the staff and nurses that provided such special care for Billy.

Charles Harold Levens went to be with his Savior on November 3, 2014. Harold was born May 19, 1929 to John and Ruth Levens. He married the love of his life, Vonna Marie Taylor, December 22, 1949.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Ruth Levens; his twin brother, Carol Levens and brother, Joe Glenn Levens and wife of 59 years, Vonna Marie Levens.
The legacy he leaves is his two sons; Mike Levens and wife, Marsha of Snyder, Texas and Randy Levens and wife, Shauna of San Angelo, Texas. Grandchildren included Heather Krause and husband, Dave of Bedford, Texas; Michelle Nichols and husband, John of Snyder, Texas; Marc Levens and wife, Jennifer of San Angelo, Texas; Jeffrey Levens of Snyder, Texas; Joshua Levens and wife, Ramona of San Angelo, Texas; Autumn Rasmus and husband, John Ryan of Snyder, Texas; and Abigal Jent and husband, Jason of Snyder, Texas. Harold was blessed with 18 great grandchildren that he truly adored. He was also blessed with his sister, Myrna Watkins of Stamford, Texas
Harold was in the oil field with Halliburton for twenty years, than worked as an independent oil producer for 42 years. He was known in the oilfield as "Rev" because of his love and commitment to serving Jesus Christ. He loved people and was known for his love of helping people out of tough circumstances. Our father loved his family and had many wonderful friends. One of his passions was the love of golf and the fun he had with his sons, grandsons, and friends on the golf course. Our father was a true example of what a Christian should be and our family rejoices for his inspirational leadership.
Family visitation will be held Wednesday evening, November 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home.
The Celebration of Harold's life will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 6, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Simmons officiating.

On the Celebration of Soul's Day Our Lord Jesus Christ welcomed our beloved mother, Felicita N. Perez, 88, into His house. Awaiting her arrival was our father, Fortino. Felicita N. Perez was born to Ernesta and Felix Navarro on November 23, 1925. She married Fortino J. Perez on March 31, 1946 and had 61 wonderful years together before he passed on December 27, 2007.
Felicita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker who devoted her life to her family. In her younger years she enjoyed sewing dresses for weddings, anniversaries and quinceneras. She also enjoyed listening to the Spanish soap operas on the radio.
After the death of her husband she attended the Adult Enrichment Center where she loved to play bingo. She loved ice cream and magazines. We are grateful for the many years of fond memories of our beloved mother before the onset of dementia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Fortino J. Perez, three sons, Mariano Perez, Henry Perez, Joe Perez, grandson, Joe Perez, Jr. and great-grandson, Elijah Rodriquez and two brothers, Jesus Navarro and Felix Navarro, Jr.
She is survived by five daughters, Rosita (George) Ybarra of San Antonio, Guadalupe (Fred) Biera, Amelia (Carlos) Gonzales, Susan (Larry) Baker, Sandra Larracuente and daughter-in-law, Delia Perez, all of San Angelo; one son, Fortino J. (Marlise) Perez, Jr. of Germany; 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; four brothers, Rumaldo Navarro, Paul Navarro, Joe Navarro and Ventura Navarro; three sisters, Maria Talamentes, Frances Casarez and Pauline Reyes.
The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 6, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Reverend Joey Faylona as celebrant. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers for the service will be her grandsons, Henry Perez, Jr., J.R. Ramirez, Nick Rodriquez, Greg Balli, Conrad Perez and Michael Gonzales.

Robert Craig "Bob" Easley, 74, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 2, 2014. Bob was born May 29, 1940 in Norman, OK to Elmer and Betty Easley. He grew up in Illinois and moved to San Angelo in 1951. Bob served his country in the United States Army as well as the National Guard. He was employed as a computer programmer for GTE Data Services. He retired from GTE in 1995. He then worked for USAA Insurance Company for 10 more years. After his retirement from USAA , Bob fulfilled his love for nature by traveling across the United States and visiting national parks and habitats. Bob was an avid sports fan. He held season tickets for all of the local minor league sports teams and he especially enjoyed going to the Colts games. Bob also loved watching the national sports teams on television and following "Pete's Pond" in Africa on his computer. He enjoyed attending local civic theatre productions and going to the San Angelo Symphony. All of this he enjoyed with his companion of seventeen years, Jerry Eudy. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Bill Easley and his longtime companion Jerry Eudy, who passed away earlier this year. Bob is survived by his children, Brian Easley of Round Rock, Craig Easley and his wife Julia of Atlanta, Ga., Carrie McCormick of Alpharetta, Ga.; several grandchildren; his brothers, John G. Easley of Tulsa, Steve Easley and his wife Barby, of San Angelo; his sister, Suzanne Hageman and her husband Don of San Angelo and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
