A beautifully crafted baby boy with his mother's nose, graced our world at 1:16 a.m., June 28, 2015. After a brief stop here on earth he was ready to go live with our Lord Jesus so he could receive complete healing.
Cooper was born to Dustin "Tyler" and Chelsea Green of San Angelo, Texas. Life for Cooper began 39 weeks prior to his birth. At 20 weeks, doctors reports stated his life was in jeopardy, and prayers began all over this country. As the weeks progressed many more became involved in Cooper's journey, "Coop's Stoop", praying along with offering physical and financial support. Churches and individuals have been consumed with prayers for Cooper and his family.
Cooper's short lived life had a tremendous effect on the body of Christ. He drew people to prayer, binding them together in love and purpose. Many have asked where was God in Cooper's journey. Hearts were turned to the Lord as some prayed for the first time, and some received the gift of salvation changing lives forever. God was right in the midst of his life.
Cooper is survived by Dustin "Tyler" and Chelsea Green, his loving parents; grandparents Moses and Alice Cruz of Georgetown, Texas, and Julie Green and Rodney Green of San Angelo; great-grandmother Jodie Hill of San Angelo; uncles Isaiah (Aimee) Cruz of Pflugerville, Texas, Nicholas Cruz of Round Rock, Texas, and Joshua Cruz of Georgetown, Texas, He is also survived by his "Cooper's Troopers" support team.
Special thanks to Glen Meadows Baptist Church, to those who held fundraisers, and to all who sat for hours at the hospital with the family holding us together, and for the multitudes who prayed for Cooper.
