Whenever the percentage of COVID-19-hospitalized patients to total hospital capacity exceeds 15% on a rolling seven-day average (according to DSHS), some businesses would be required to close and/or occupancies would be reduced.
The Department of State Health Services reported Tuesday that Trauma Service Area K, including San Angelo, has gone over the 15 percent threshold of hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

According to the San Angelo Health Department, the patient has been identified as a male in his 80s. The patient is a resident of Tom Green County. The COVID-19 death total is at 112 as of today, Nov. 17, 2020.
