The DPS report says the ATV was traveling at a high rate of speed westward on the highway when Harding intentionally steered off the roadway into the barrow ditch.
According to reporters on scene, on June 26, at around 4 p.m. San Angelo police officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of W Avenue N and Sherwood Wy.
Ten railroad cars left the tracks Saturday afternoon in Abilene during the heat of the day and investigators are looking for the cause of the derailment.
